Interesting to read the 94x series is top of the list, and I think it's another reason some of the older horses, like the 710, are still around and in the catalogs. Can't beat something that popular.

For me the 940 is the best modern folder that I have owned. Before buying a Benchmade I had never spent over a C note on a pocket knife and usually carried Kershaw (USA). I got tired of the dang auto assist knives and could not find a decent US built knife in the town I lived in without it. Decided to try a BM after joining this forum and I'm glad I did. I recently was considering getting a Contego; and I still might. But I have come to the conclusion that I like to EDC a lighter knife in my pocket.

I'm also surprised the Rift isn't more popular. It seems like THE BM to get. I have one and love the blade shape but the handle isn't really my thing.

I'm wondering why there is VERY little info or reviews on the new 900 Axis Strykers?
I'm about to pull the trigger on the 950, or the 900,, but based on this poll,, I should maybe reconsider?

I know i said the same thing is RamZar's other thread but, even though I have yet to even hold one and they a RH, tip down carry only the Skirmish and Mini Skirmish are by far my tops for BM knives. Followed by the 581 then 940.
I just love that design and I will own one someday (if not a custom).

Well, seeing I only own 2 Benchmades, I'd have to say the 940 takes highest honor with the Ritter mini-grip coming in a close second.

What I find most interesting: People whom actually USE knives tend not to vote for Bali's, unlike the Facebook bracket.

I voted 710, but there's a catch. I would have voted 943 if I didn't own an M390 710. I was unimpressed with the 710D2.

That being said, I would have voted 484 or 520 over anything else.

Agreed. The results of the Facebook Poll had me scratching my head in disbelief and it was the impetus to create this more realistic poll.

I think adamas would be doing better in the poll if had m4 or something. But I'm happy with the d2 on the adamas.Wasn't for awile though cause didn't come very sharp and had to buy some dmt diamond stones to get it sharp instead of the crumby wetstones was using before. Didn't take long with dmt stones though. Actually minutes. Got one on my keychain now. Got it hair popping sharp about two months ago and still has a shaving edge so very happy with adamas. Flipping a mini grip now and also awesome knife but still like adamas better. Benchmade is defineatly a company i can't get enough of and want to try all their products.
