Your top three users...

Top three users based upon what I'm carrying out and about and when I'm at home/yard work:
1. SAK Huntsman
2. Camillus CUDA Maxx 5.5
3. Matt Lamey Urban Bowie

The SAK is almost always in my pocket as my "sheeple" knife, occasionally if the mood hits... gets swapped out for a slipjoint.
The Maxx because it fits beautifully in cargo pants pockets
The Lamey at home/yard because I like the way it cuts, and the fine Kenny Rowe boot-clip sheath is very versatile.

1 paramilitary: great knife, cuts excellently, sharpens up nicely, tough as nails

2 Bark River fieldsman: good steel, holds a good edge, stands up to a lot of abuse, cuts well

3 Becker brute: won't break, despite my abuse, good chopping power

thats an easy one i have 3 knives i almost always rotate between:

*emerson CQC8 custom specwar w/a zero bevel grind blade - really feels good in the hand and incredibly sharp, not a good edge for utility use though.

*crawford perfigo satin finish blade w/a clip and occasionally the stud (with the clip removed of course) - in certain situations the stud really works well am suprised more makers dont use it, if ya have the option of either one its pretty cool, the stud is best when ya carry IWB imho. a very good knife imho and also is easier to pack than the older kasper folding fighter (have a Ti KFF also) and pat crawford is a excellent smith imho, and a good guy to boot. only con imho is tip down carry.

*spyderco Ti ATR plain edge - certainly may favorite production model by far, excellent ergos, excellent F&F, excellent materials, excellent lock up, thin and easy to pack, i really like mine.

also usually have a spyderco delica SE for utility work, and old one w/the integral clip.

Right now I rotate between A CRKT m16-00 CF, a Spyderco SS Dragonfly, and a Spyderco Mariner PE.

Opinel #8 stainless, Ash handle.
Spydie Native III plainedge.
Opinel #7 carbon,beech handle.

For me it's the 1- modified Para (this knife doesn't get used that much)
2- CRKT M-21 (small)
3- Buck 174 Cutback

All three have been modified to tip-up carry.

For me I'd say
-Buck 110
-Benchmade Mini Griptillian
-TOPS Interceptor

Those are my three that take the most use/abuse anyway. Still a tough choice though.

My top user is a tie between an SE paramilitary and an SE atlantic salt. Next are my SAK compact and Warren Thomas small titanium hawkbill.

Interesting to see the trends here, good thread.

I try to mix it up and use all of my knives from time to time, but the knives I use for EDC the most are:

Spyderco Native
Victorinox Super Tinker
Buck Stockman

This week, so far:

-SAK classic, airport donation bot as part of a 15 Victorinox knife lot from CVW, $1.04 unit cost
-SOG Flash II, smoooooooth flippin edge, intelligent lock
-Opinel #8, Couteau De Jardin, Sandvik 12C27 slicing tool, straight from the land of the black beret

Best,

oregon

I'm rotating a bunch of EDCs, but these are the top 3:

1. Benchmade Mini Skirmish
2. Small Regular Sebenza
3. Benchmade 690

1) Camillus Aftermath
2) Victorinox Deluxe Tinker
3) Rob Simonich Bitteroot (Talonite)

--Bob Q

Case Copperlock with wharncliff blade
--bought this from a forumite to try it, it's turned into my favorite 'go to' knife for small cuts

Emerson CQC-11
--was taken with this one from the second I saw a pic of it and still find it great even after a year of EDC

Spyderco Black ATR, SS, PE
--even better, IMHO, than the Emerson. In use and ergos, it seems like a custom. Spyderco out did themselves with this one.
