Your top three users...

My three most common users for regular, day-to-day activities are:

  1. CRKT M16 13Z - I edc this knife and it sees constant use (giving it a touch up on a ceramic stone has become part of my nightly routine).
  2. Grohmann DH Russell no. 1 Flat Grind - I use this for food prep and as my main eating knife.
  3. Becker Necker - my second edc knife. Just about everything I need to cut can be taken care of by the M16, but that doesn't stop me from looking for excuses to use this blade. With a cord-wrapped handle, it's far more comfortable than the M16 for prolonged cutting jobs.

1. Spyderco Delica PE VG-10 - This is the knife I use at work. It cuts a decent amount of cardboard, plastic and fiberous material every week. Stays sharp and is easy to sharpen when dull.

2. Spyderco Manix PE - Crazy sharp with a great lock. This is my usual EDC piece.

3. Tom Krein TK8 D2 - Excellent knife that can do either utility or defense equally well.

1. My usual EDC BM 705 or
2. BM 525 which is becoming my main EDC.
3. BM mini AFCK (814) sits on my desk and get used by all.

My Victorinox climber is always with me and is used almost every day. For a small folder, my favourite is the Fallkniven U2, and when I need a fixed blade, the Fallkniven F1 usually gets used.

Spyderco FRN/PE Delica
BM 556 Mini-Griptillian
Ka-Bar/Dozier Folding hunter (drop point/thumbhole)

All three get used constantly. I usually carry a SAK,Inova X5T, LM Wave II plus several other folders before the "stuff" in my Maxpedition as well.

- gord

- Benchmade Griptillian 551
- Wenger (don't remember it's name, like Vic Tinker) - always in my left pocket
- Spyderco Jester - always on my keychain

As an archaeologist, Im in the field alot. When in field mode, as I am now my EDC is;
Busse BM- First generation, micarta screw rivit handle. unbelievable 9.5 inches of chopping power. I have not handeled anything that comes close.

Dozier K2 Utility- D2 steel w/honey mircita handle, nice broad blade, holds a great edge, even after field abuse. Never without.

MooreMaker 5301 Stockman- 3 7/8" 1095 steel, it speaks for itself.

When not in the field, I replace the Busse BW with a

Howard Hitchmoth titaniun and ats34 folder or
Bailey Bradshaw folder.

Benchmade RSK-1

Cold Steel SRK

4" Frosts Mora

I also use a CS Gurkha Light Kukri quite a bit.

1. Wharncliff carbonsteel framelock folder 3" blade made to my specs by Peter Schlusche/Germany.
2.Chris Reeve Umfaan for the watch pocket in my jeans
and
3. Mission MBK half serrated for outdoor utility.

Pat Crawford One Hand Knife, Gerber Carbon Fiber SL 3.25, old Queen Serpentine Jack with Winterbottom bone scales/Schrade Tennessee River Trapper with amber jigged bone scales. I'll post some pics later.

1. SAK, Carry it everywhere. Usually go with the Super Tinker or Climber

2. SMF or SnG, Made to be abused. And I rotate a couple of them so I didn't get specific about which grind. (Some are customs)

3. BM Griptilion or Gravitator, Good factory knives that don't know what the meaning of the word quit is. Good stuff.

Manix 95% of the time, with a sebenza thrown in there once in a while. The Manix is just so secure in the hand.
