Your Toughest Knife?

Fixed: No idea, I don’t have any overly sturdy fixed blades yet.

Folders: Pohl Force Alpha Two

I own nothing that I have abused more than this SOG hawk with a modified Ti handle. It is just one tough SOB!!! Everyone I lend it to puts it to work and it always comes back smiling.:D

For Folders these 2, they really will take a lot of Abuse and you really can Batton with them and the Rajah 1 makes for a pretty good chopper in a folder.

My toughest knife?

Though I love my BK9 ("Sweet Lucille") with all my heart and wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere with me, I have to say that my RC-5 (ESEE-5) is tougher.
That sumbuck is built like a tank. I've beat the mortal piss out of it with everything I can think of that I'd do with it (short of punching it through car hoods and a few other things that I find utterly ridiculous) and it has never made the first bobble.

For some reason I figured there'd be a lot of Busse's mentioned in this thread! :D

How about this one, old school Busse SHBM,

My toughest tested knife is the 10" Hood Hunter. It knocks off hogs heads, quarters up the carcasses, doubles as a machete as it goes through palm and live oak with no problem, and it just a fun knife to have. I just got my first Busse, a CG Ash-1 and it sure seems like a beast although I haven't done much with it other than make a few hiking staffs.

1. HI Ang Khola, 5160 steel,

2. Fehrman's First Strike, 3V steel,

The third one is a small, strong Fehrman's Peace Maker

As far as folders are concerned, a few of them

- Extrema Ratio M.P.C., N690Co steel

- small Sebenza, BG-42 steel,

- Spydeco Li'l Temperance, S30V steel,

- Manix, S30V steel, (the last one on the last photo)

Ok, here's the question:
What is your toughest knife? I'm talking about the blade you would do just about anything to without fear of damaging it? Price should not dictate your choice.
Mine: A WW2 Camillus Mark 2 USN knife. Aside from cutting a brick in half, I cannot think of anything I haven't done with it. It's only 75-80 years old (only...), and still as solid as new! Best part, I picked it up at a Garage Sale about 20 yrs ago from the original owner for.... 5 bucks!

Would love to see a pic of your Camillus.

My toughest knife would have to be my Ontario RD6.

It would be hard to pick a 'toughest' fixed-blade among the many, absolutely excellent, full-tang carbon steel (or whatever INFI is) knives out there.

Of the folders I have though -- it's pretty hard to beat a Spyderco Chinook II or III.
