I'm really weird about mayo. I will only eat it on Burgers and BLTs and some potato or macaroni salads. Mayo anywhere else is just nasty (to me at least...to each their own)

Whatever works for ya, brother.

Back in my bar-hoppin' days, I never understood why so many people enjoyed "forcing" someone else to drink a shot or slam a beer they don't like. "Don't be a sissy, chug it!!" That's just dumb. This stuff is supposed to be fun... drink or eat or use knives or shoot guns depending solely on whatever the heck you like. :)

mmm I have never mixed mayo with hot sauce! gonna get some fries on the way home and mix some hellmanns with Cholula...

That does sound pretty darn good, doesn't it? Thanks for the tip C-bear.

Oh, and I'd like to offer North Carolina as an option for the move.

The job I am most hoping to get is in NC. However it would just be a stepping stone in a long-term plan to get back to Oregon. That, and the pay goes up to $40/hour.

If you guys check out the "What's New" section of the July 2015 issue of BLADE magazine you may just see something made by a certain Beckerhead that snarks a lot :D

Is it C_Tanner? :p

So it's the weekend, and I'm sick. And I had to turn down an OT shift because of it. On the up side my AZWelke sheaths came today and I got a 1000 round brick of .22lr at walmart for $51.

trying to decide which fries, Micky D's or Wendy's

I've had some good mayo, I've had some not good mayo. I made some from scratch and added some roasted garlic and dijion and dill which was just... DAMN!

oh damn I forgot about 5 guys! but that's a lot of fries...choices, choices

You don't have to get the LARGE, you can get the small or even the medium. They are the best choice for fries though. Unless you got a Penn station around, they are about on par with each other.

Unless you really have the dedication and want the fries tomorrow, then you can go home and chop up some taters and get them soaking overnight to make them yourself.

well, I can get fries tonight, AND get home, chop some up for tomorrow and sit down and experiment with this mix. I also have some honey Dijon...I might set up tasting stations!

went to the new shop to measure stuff for planning, and got a tad motivated. Found a few basic things and made the start of a workspace. At least I can sharpen and screw things now!

nice looking shop, daizee. I can never keep my workspace clean for too long :grumpy:

I waited an entire 48 hours or so to enjoy the last 2 bottles of this "Big Gruesome"

That was some damn fine will power on my part.....BUT......Now its ON!!! :D

Wife is already in bed, she wasnt feeling so well after work. I guess ill celebrate making it into BLADE magazine all by myself.

you know what would go great with those bottles? some fries with mayo and hot sauce :D

snark...

Congrats WW! I'd hoist a pint with you but I don't drink much or often. So, I'll raise up a slice of pizza instead.!

my hat is off to you, WW, and I raise this second jar of beer in congratulations.
Maybe you can share your mojo with me! (clearing PM's ;))

so tonight's beer is Bershire Brewery Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale.
Turns out this is the one I don't love. It's an excellent example of the light American Ale genre. Rather meh for me. On the good side, it has a lovely candy nose which I'm enjoying. I bought a six to support demand for their products at my local liquor store. More than I need. For those of you who like this sort of brew and would like to support a small New England operation, I'd say it's a very good example of the style. Personally, I prefer an ale with more depth of character if it's not going to have any hop bite, like their Cabin Fever Ale. That's a good amber. The Berkshire Traditional Pale Ale has the hop element, but isn't quite as warm as the cabin fever. It's a balancing act.

Congrats WW. That is indeed awesome and party worthy.

Congrats WW

Thanks fellas!!

I honestly had no idea these things would take off like this. I really liked the design and idea behind it, but to me it was still just a neat little trinket that i was making for myself, but other people seem to really like them as well... And for that im very grateful and extremely excited about it!!
