You're a mean one, Mr Snark

Moving? I can recommend California very highly. :D
(It's a great state to avoid for political, and economic reasons like ebola.) :miserable:

Bighoss - Texas is pretty freakin awesome if you don't mind not having any mountains near by. If I could live anywhere in the world, I would live in the Texas hill country - west of Austin, northeast of San Antonio. My father grew up east northeast of Austin in a little town called Granger. That might be my second choice but eastern Tennesee and western North Carolina are pretty high on my list too.

To say that "Beer X" tastes like horse piss is an insult to horse piss.

To me at least, horse piss tastes better.

Having never actually tasted horse piss, and with all due respect, I will take your word for it.

In other news, FFS do not even consider moving to East TN. The climate is awful, the scenery sucks, it's a terrible place to live, and we're full up with crazy. :grumpy:

You freakin' snobs. Beast Light got me through college, and I still buy a sentimental six every blue moon. Same goes for PBR and Natty Light.

However, I wouldn't touch a Keystone Light with a ten-foot pole. :p

That said, PBR is now Russian. Budweiser is now Belgian, and Coors, Keystone included, is now Canadian. If you want to drink American, seems like local breweries and craft beer is where it's at.

I enjoyed a 'Rickards Red' last night while snowblowing my driveway and surrounding sidewalks. I'm convinced, I need to add a beverage holder to it!

No pictures cause the light was too crappy to take pictures.

Y'all are some snarkers up in here. I leave for the day and get too tired to post anything last night... and 6 pages just fly by about beer! glad I didn't miss much.

And now I'm up 2 hours before my alarm because the baby doesn't feel like sleeping anymore. Today... is going to suck.

So I have a lot of options for what state to get a job in. I really don't want to live in a state that uses salt or anything on the roads that is corrosive and cause my trucks to rust through. Help me out fellas, need to know what states to avoid.

Move to Florida, Hoss. It doesn't have snow (well once in a great while), so no salt on the roads. It does have lots of swamps and woods, and a year round hog season. Plus you can use your bk9 to kill the small Mosquitos and to knock the big ones down. Then you can shoot them with your glock. Might have to upgrade that 9mm to a .40 or .45... The 9mm just pisses the big ones off.

Doc

LOL!!!

I love florida. The swamps and woods are great. mosquitoes can be a problem but you can always get that ninja to teach you how to fight them off if they get too bad!!

Then again if i was in CO i may want to stay there.... With the awesome laws and all...

CO doesnt use salt, and its beautiful there. Also they voted out representatives who went after gun rights too... Not a bad state.

Anywhere is nicer than Filthadelphia. I took these pictures on the way coming back from dropping my kids off at school. This only a few different roads but lots of the city is this way, some areas much worse. Of course in center city where the court house and crap is they try and keep it clean, but outside of center city its just a mess.

When i first moved here i went outside cleaning up the street and had several neighbors telling me i shouldnt do that because it makes no difference. I tried to tell them it does indeed make a difference, if every person took just 5 minutes a day to pick up a little trash, and people stopped throwing it on the ground we could make it a much nicer neighborhood. Of course they laughed and continued to throw trash on the ground so now i just try and keep right in front of my porch clean.

There are so many criminals here... I cant understand why they dont get them out here to clean up. I have lived here around 5 years now and i have NEVER seen anyone clean up the sides of the roads. I have seen them take tractor lawnmowers over it and grind most the paper trash up but they just leave it there when they are done.

Every time they see someone throw a piece of trash on the ground the mandatory sentence should be 8 hours picking trash up by hand. I bet that would make a difference.

You can count any state that touches WI out. We got a dusting a month ago and they salted the crap out of our roads.
That said, we have a lot of great beer here. I still will pretty much just do Leinenkugel's for any day beer. Creamy Dark or Red are decent. We also have New Glarus in abundance here, so I'll mix it up with that quite often.

Honey Brown got me through college, and I'm not very sentimental...
Cranberry & Soda, please. :D

I've had beast once in my life. It was at a frat party and we went through 10 kegs in one night. Never again!

Well Black Velvet whiskey and Old English beer got me through my 17th-20th year on this planet.... After that i was old enough to buy whatever i wanted.... I still went back to black velvet when it was all i could afford though LOL

No sentiments to either. If i never have to drink black velvet and OE again ill be a happy man!!

Bought a 1.75L bottle of Canadian Mist in college. Whenever I offered it people would turn it down unless they had something to mix it with. More for me I guess.

I have drank a lot of Canadian mist myself... I can stomach it better than velvet... But hell at 17 i could go through the little drive thru bar and get a pint of black velvet for a few bucks. At the time i couldnt afford much. I just graduated high school and had bills to pay and was bringing in less than 2 hundred a week. My bills were always paid first, but after that, money to drink and smoke where top priorities LOL
