The Malga 6 is on my list to purchase.Boker had the best I've tried, but I've really been tempted by the MKM model, malga, with m390 blade. The MKM is like a modern take on the scout knife.
I tend to use SAK's most often though, for such uses. I gave away the last of my scout knives recently after getting some of the more expensice SAK's with a wider range of tools. The saw has proven to be a very nice tool for me for crafting purposes.
I was thinking Case as well, but I like this model as it's a bit bigger and stouter than a typical scout.I'm fond of the Case Scout/Camp Knife myself.
Shown here with a twin Case Cattle Knife...
If you are referring to a typical 4-blade knife, which has a main blade, punch/awl, screwdriver/bottle opener, and can opener - my personal preference for that sort of thing is a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife - one of the Pioneer series variants with alox scales. If using it for the traditional scouting-type activities of camping and light woodcraft, I would go for the Farmer version which includes a serviceable saw.
What’s that blade next to the main blade? Can opener? How is it used?I was thinking Case as well, but I like this model as it's a bit bigger and stouter than a typical scout.View attachment 1996623
Although Rough Ryder makes (made?) A decent copy of the Case. But honestly a good old Camillus or Ulster is hard to beat and still relatively common.

It is the can opener, I made a video showing how I use it. However you can put the stud on the lip of the can and cut upwards with a rocking motion. But that makes the jagged edges point up which I don't like, so I do it this wayWhat’s that blade next to the main blade? Can opener? How is it
