Never watched them either. Didn't realize this was a big thing. I get my information here. Y'all are excellent at emptying my wallet, I have no need for any other help.Sometimes I feel like I'm the only member of this forum that doesn't watch knife reviews... but I can honestly respond that no, I haven't noticed.
definitely not the only oneSometimes I feel like I'm the only member of this forum that doesn't watch knife reviews... but I can honestly respond that no, I haven't noticed.
And in that big tech is backed by China, well that could have something to do with the push on Chinese knives.Youtubers have to pump out content to stay relevant, and the very prolific Chinese manufacturers are more than happy to oblige them with samples, so we see exactly what's being described. I generally skip those videos unless something captures my interest.

Yet YouTube is blocked in ChinaAnd in that big tech is backed by China, well that could have something to do with the push on Chinese knives.
I have zero interest in Chinese knives, and as a result, I don't bother watching many knife reviews. Well, that and the fact that most of them just suck and could barely be called real "reviews" at all. I'd be curious who the "one or two good ones" are that are left? If I could find any good reviewers who aren't just shills, I'd definitely follow them. There's still one or two good ones left, but has anyone noticed that just about all the knife reviewers on YouTube have turned into cheap Chinese knife salesman?
