Zdp-189?

It's almost done! Looks like a long pull on the main, and I can't believe how low he got the blades to sit when closed :D

Beautiful! Please post good pictures when it arrives. Ohta is my grail knife, maybe some day.

Beautifully done Chip, first off, I didn't even know Ohta made 3 blades in a whittler at all..and second.. ZDP 189 :D Can't wait to see your photos of this piece. I'm going to have to place an order with him for sure now.

tip with zdp 189: you can sharpen it like hell but it also chips easily. with a thin-bladed slip joint, suggest a 20 degree per side sharpening or even convexing. i still wouldn't risk it when whittling hard wood or bamboo.

Any idea of when this comes in? I can't wait to see a review on this knife. One of the coolest projects I've seen here for sure.

It actually got here a couple days ago, but its been so cloudy I haven't been able to get any decent pics. I'll see what I can do tomorrow, I'll post up pics one way or another. I will say that I love it, and it's a wicked thin slicer :D
