- This is ZT's "factory custom" product line. Which means that the ZT makes some of the components of the knives and the custom maker supplies the other components. In the case of the ZT0392, the anodized hardware is supplied by Hinderer. So the quantity is based more on what they can provide for the run.
 
Just got this knife in hand today and it's awesome! I wanted the 0392 so bad but missed out due to the GPK snafu. The action is sweet, they nailed it. Bronze hardware isn't quite bronze, but cool nonetheless.
 
Had one in my cart, then I decided I really didn't care enough for it. Would rather get a 0452CF and 0450 for that money. I already spent plenty on knives that I never really play with.

The only knives I really end up carrying are more common ZTs or my Emerson.
 
Kinda hard to believe anyone who says "the economy is bad" when dudes are lining up to buy $400 pocket knives.....

lovin all those otf microtechs sir. im about to throw my grip in the river tho for how much i hate it... ive tried for years to like that knife and i just cant like it at all.

But I had someone contact me about another knife I have been looking to find for a while that I got, and I went ahead and placed a custom order as well out of spite :cool: :D

I would like to have one of these, but at the same time, it's really only because of the look. I already have a Shirogorov 95T with M390 steel, so it's not like the 0392 is in any way anything new to me, and I know it's not going to be better than my Shiro ;). That bronze combined with that excellent blackwash just looked so good :o

What about you, John? Did you manage to score one of these gorgeous little "scalp magnets"?

Charr- there are way too many other knives that I would rather buy right here on the exchange, than deal with this type of B.S. Until ZT changes the way they treat their valuable customer's (with L.E. releases like this), I'll buy elsewhere.

FWIW: after all the hype with the first release of the 0392, my feeling is, this knife is way over rated, & over priced. Besides- I'm not into the gaudy/ugly looking gold hardware on this release anyway, so that would have been a deal breaker for me, anyway.

I wish somebody would do a poll: how many member's on BF, who purchased the 392 on the first release, flipped them in our faces for big fat profits, right here on BF?

Keep your eyes peeled for a glut on these to be coming soon on our very own exchange...just be prepared to pay some ridiculously inflated prices.
