Zero Tolerance 0392 BWBRZ!!

If anyone has a NIB 0392 (either release), that they're willing to sell...I have 300 bones to throw at you...that's 3 Big Benjamin's. Please feel free to hit me up, if you got one of these shanks...we're talkin cashola...from one BF brother, to another.

Thats about 1 bone less than what they sold for I wouldnt hold my breath waiting

I absolutely agree
ZT has done it for me with the 0392bwbrz. I understood why the XM-18 is still considered better than the many ZT colab, but I don't think the Eklipse has anything on the 0392bwbrz. This is one LE that can take a beating and won't give the owner a heart attack.

The first one was sold at $375 the second at $400, both sold out, somehow 300 seems a little lite

I am really disappointed at all of these being bought for the sole purpose of being flipped. It's far for than when ZT sold them direct because it's very easy to purchase several. Multiple times now I've seen the same person list multiple 0392s and I'm sure it'll be the same with the new variation.

Shame on you, flippers.

Of course they are all going to be flipped[pun intended]:playful:. Seriously though, people on the exchange and ebay are doing business, not charity. It is in bad taste to mark up the price, but if you ignore them, it will go away(for you). I would know because I ignored all the 2nd market LEs so far.

Anyone else's 0392 have a finger breaking detent? Thinking about sending it back to ZT to have them adjust

The detent on mine is very tight and strong...but not to the point that I don't like it. I'll see if it breaks in a bit, but mine doesn't bother me.

Does anyone's 0392 detent hole looks like this?

Perfect action though, so no complaints from me.
The blue one's detent is pretty strong on mine. I'm breaking it in slowly since my finger can only take so much of a beating.

I love everything about the knife, except the detent. The quality is darn near perfect. Here's to hoping it will break in....soon...

yup, mine looks like a milled out hole inside another milled out hole. The detent is a finger breaker on mine.. but it seems like it's actually possible to flip now compared to how it was out of the box.

....I did hope that some of those folks who got one but decided that they didn't like it would sell it at a "reasonable" price. But I've only seen one sold for less than $500 here, even though the original price was $375. In one sense, if we don't want people to do that, then we cannot reward that behavior by buying them! But every single one that I saw posted here was purchased at $500 or more. I personally refused to pay more than $450 for the 0392 on the secondary market, which is why I don't have one. If people decide to pay the exorbitant, secondary-market prices, then people are going to post the knives at those prices.

I did happen to get one of the 0392BWBRZ, because I do like the look of it, and because I wanted to at least hold one in hand to decide if it "fits me" or not. We'll see, I suppose. In any case, I do agree that we will start to see these posted for $600+ on this forum this weekend. To me, it doesn't really matter if you intended to keep the knife or not. You're a "flipper" or "scalper" if you ask $600+ for the knife just a few days/weeks after paying $400. Ask a reasonable price for the knife (that covers PP fees, shipping, insurance...and dinner), or be willing to trade it for something else that maybe the other person was able to snag at a good price (to even the exchange and benefit both of you). I will never forget when @poolhustler sold me my 0801USN at a remarkably reasonable price because he knew I would give it a good home and wasn't just looking to flip it.

I ended up with two BWBRZs. I only wanted one, but since I could use the cash more than the knife I ended up selling both of them to members for $450. Break even, plus a couple bucks for the bank. I can't believe people are paying $650 for this thing. I love my 0392, but paying that price is just silly. Seeing them go for that kind of money really made me want to stick them on ebay instead of passing them on to someone who missed out on the sale, but genuinely wanted one.

How did you get two? I know it was hard enough for people to score one?

Speedy clicker I suppose. I hit up BHQ 1st and it went through, but the last time I was denied later in the day, so just in case I hit up KC and managed to get an order through. The last go around the knife didn't even show on a search at KC it sold out so fast. I wasn't expecting to score a knife at all, but this time I scored twice! FML. I wasn't expecting to spend $800 bones that day. lol.

for those interested, an overview video of the bwbrz:

Hello Blade Forum. First time I felt the need to post after getting my 0392BWBRZ today and noticed something odd. It appears to have not received the blackwash treatment and has a flat black coating on the blade. Everything else appears normal. Anyone else get one like this?

The wash on that blade looks very light. I think that it has been washed though because of the shiny areas on the grind lines. One good thing about that is now you can be the one to wear the coating down through use instead of having the blade look used artificially.
