I also had a very positive experience with mine (0392 BRNGLD)
No problems with the grind, centering, or any other functional issues . The detent is perfect, never too hard, a slight pull is enough to launch the blade everytime.
Mine don't have any rough edges, in fact that's the first thing I've noticed about the knife, how smooth it felt in my hand (not slippery though). I suspect it could be the thick PVD coating on them. I never handled the first 2 versions, but I think the coating made all the difference here.
I feel it's more than an equal to a real hinderer (definitely a better flipper) and the initial pricing is justified... Just my opinion (based on my experiences with other ZTs and hinderers)
I'm looking forward the daily Knife Exchange posts along the lines of "BNIB ZT 0392BLKGRN. Box never opened, packaging never so much as looked at, never even taken out of mailbox. $600 NET TO ME."

I'm a big fan of "This is a catch and release. Turns out it just wasn't for me."
Figured I'd see you here, John
I will say that the wharncliffe model of the 0392 might be the only one I would have the smallest shred of interest in anymore.
And now let me formally apologize for contributing to the derailment of this thread.
Sorry everyone. I couldn't keep quiet about that.

Yup!!! I think it was about 3 weeks before the brown/gold hit the Exchange! I remember a bunch of whiny bitches complaining about how ZT's site handled the load......those guys were the sellers!

I don't mind the color scheme, and I may try to snag one only because I can't get my hands on any of the others for under $550-600. And I'm not contributing to a 50% markup.
The only reason I'd like the green is because for whatever reason it makes me think of The Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly, the weird associations we make.
Green and black is just a good color combination. At least they resisted the urge to call it the "zombie edition".
^ You've got me figured out Coleman. FWIW- I really like the blade design on this 0392, however blue/purple/natural titanium are my favorite colors. I'm just not digging that green color for some reason.
^ No apologies necessary. Most member's here whom actually know you, already know that you're a class act, extremely knowledgeable & very passionate, regarding our this hobby we all share!
