I hope Rodney's prices are just high because of the current rarity, and that's not the reg price I'm going to see. Cuz that's a crapload more than the 260.00 I saw at EDC Canada. Crazy.
 
I usually deal with Sean (the S in SnR). Only met Rod a couple times. They usually up the price on short supply high in demand items, but I'm sure it'll go down in price eventually. To be honest even at their price I bet they will have a hard time keeping them in stock.

I'm going to try the pencil trick tomorrow!

One other thing, since I got home and loosened the pivot to a comfortable spot, the detent is pretty crappy. Doesn't bother me though, the way I carry and use my knives it won't ever be an issue for me. I can see some people complaining about it though.

After a day of use and fondling I love it as much as I did this morning.

Again I'm happy everyone is enjoying the pictures. Maybe I'll take a few comparison pics later in the week when I get my sebenza and hinderer xm-24.
 
I've got mine approx. 24h now.
The thumbstuds are not for opening! Sure as bladestop, maybe for hurting yourself, but not to be operated. But to be honest I don't care about it. I bought a flipper.
Mine was taken apart and lubricated right away. I always do so. That was a good idea. Now it runs very smooth. It's also a good idea to play around and break it in.
It'll need to be sharpened today. Don't get me wrong, it is sharp, but I'm spoiled by CRK.

Congrats.....hopefully my name comes up on the pre-order list very soon. Question........So which one is going to be limited production, the 0560 or the 0561?
 
So, by regular production: Does that mean eventually there will be enough made for just about anyone that wants one? It's just a matter of time, so to speak and they will be as available as the rest of the ZT line? If so that's great, I liked the TIlt a lot but my order wasn't filled, but I like these even better and would rather have one, than the Tilt even.
 
Is that blade bead blasted? I was seriously about to order one till I saw that now it just has no appeal to me what so ever.

YES IT'S BEAD BLASTED, don't buy one. More for the people who knows what's going on

..my point here is that you'd already know if it was stonewashed or bead blasted had you been following this thread...guess that's not much of a point, I'm just a big fan of ZT

Well ZT is always going to be limited with pretty much every model. This is not a volume produced brand.

Ouch, I was hoping for stonewash myself as well. Still pretty, the blade will show a lot of character with a blasted finish - we'll know who the users are right away! :p :D
 
I prefer stonewash, wich it is ,but even if it was blasted unless you're swimming in the ocean you're not gonna rust ELMAX
 
So without a preorder what are the chances of getting a 0560 in tan, sub $300 range? Possible??
