Zero Tolerance Current/Upcoming/Discontinued Models

I don't see what the big deal is with them offering gitd scales, if you don't like it don't buy it. It's not offensive looking and let's be honest, most of the time it will be in your pocket and not be charged up enough to glow.

I don't think any of us are offended or mad about GLCF. It's ZT's use of their precious resources to put this stuff out vs. something brand new or really worthwhile Sprints/Limiteds/re-releases etc.
We could come up with a pretty solid top-10 list of things we'd rather see.

Bearing, non-AO, Ti 0566BW,0566CF,0566BWCF
0562BW,0562BWCF
0393BWCF
etc etc

But something like this probably doesn't cost them that much more to make because I would think there isn't any or much extra tooling or setup involved, but it helps finance the unique sprint runs and limited knives that you really want

Well one things for sure, ZT won’t do more of these if they don’t sell.
If they do, expect a lot more of em.

I think it’s daytime looks are great, and I wouldn’t hesitate to add it to my collection that already includes a 0452cf, 0452bwcf and a 0452ti.....the glow in the dark just killsit for me....so does the $260 price tag.

Yeah, I paid $180 for my 0452CF and exactly $200 for both of my 0452WBWs, all BNIB.
This new $260-$280 stuff for the same thing, or worse is a tough one to swallow.
I still haven’t bought a 0562TI because I think $280 is too high. That’s well on your way to Hinderer territory.

Not quite. A Hinderer XM-18 3.5” goes for $425 with G-10 on the presentation side. Then you have to pay another $200 for the titanium scale so you end up with $625 vs. $280 for 0562TI.

Yes, I know - I have a bunch of Hinderers. I said Hinderer territory, not a full Ti Hinderer.

ZT 0562 with with G-10 was $200. So, you can compare that to XM-18 3.5” at $425. Still less than half the price.

The glow CF is kind of cool in a unique way. It's really amazing how much they have changed from their "built like a beast" roots to making total pocket jewelry now.

I wonder if they will ever change the name from "Zero Tolerance" to just "ZT" officially? Not sure why you would name a knife company after a "movie" studio...

Why did they stop upgrading the steel on these 0452 sprints?

I don't care for the GITD or the price, but I like this much more than the "white" CF Blackwash. I'm a sucker for DLC/CF...

I'll likely pick this one up to keep this guy company: https://i.imgur.com/gCKbFr9.jpg

KAI - please do something innovative instead of keeping changing the color of the scale to produce more "limited" runs of the same damn knife again and again and again.

BTW, put a steel pivot washer in between the ball bearings and the titanium lockbar.

Exactly. This is a company that touts itself as "Made-in-USA line of hard-use knives that would meet the needs of professionals in the military and law enforcement, as well as other first responders, such as firefighters and emergency medical personnel." Not sure how tiger stripes, herringbone damascus, and GITD scales fit into that mantra. At least I feel they still make well built products, I give them that. But right now from outward appearances, it looks as if ZT has lost their way and instead on the path of diluting their brand identity; that plus the rather non-innovative/uninspired reveals at the past several trade shows. Perhaps not all's well in Dodge? One can speculate all day long: Management shake up? Pending acquisition? High staff turnover? etc.. There are several competitors rising from the east who can now run circles around ZT so I don't believe now is the time for ZT to rest on its past laurels and string us along with these "novelty" makeovers. Hope I'm wrong on all this. We're into the second quarter and I'm hoping ZT still has some show-stoppers up their sleeves to reveal for the balance of the year.

Considering how fast their sprints typically sell out I doubt they see much incentive to change.

I'd like to see less S35VN, more full Ti models, better clip and clip attachment designs, and maybe an integral but I'm just one guy. If what they make sells out they have no reason to doubt what they're doing.
