Zero Tolerance Current/Upcoming/Discontinued Models

0230 is amazing! I like skip joints without clips so ymmv. It’s fantastic so far.

On the ZT 0230

I've carried mine for a little while now, really enjoying it. The blade shape is perfect for my daily tasks and the ergos overall have been excellent, plenty of room for my L/XL glove size hands while still being featherlight. And, a nice little bonus feature I found is that its pretty easy to open with one hand if you are open to a two step process. Finally, I like to engrave something on my user knives, this one seemed perfect for the American Flag, I think it looks great on there. I highly recommend this model, its my favorite ZT in quite some time.

Flags facing the wrong way, just sayin.

Actually they got it correct according to a quick Google search. https://www.aflag.com/flag-etiquette/
Two examples of how it should be, oddly enough from Kershaw/KAI. The flag is always advancing, never retreating. Our electricians at my work have a flag patch on their right shoulder and the stars are in the top left, should be top right. Bugs the hell out of me lol.

Why is one correct and the other not (genuine curiosity)?

The flag is always advancing never retreating. Think of the US flag on a flagpole. The stars are closest to the pole. When a flag bearer advances the flag (ideally if the wind cooperates) the stars are out in front.

I'd definitely want the less-than-overbuilt 0230 if it didn't have that goofy Anso hoop thing. I don't know why I hate the way that looks, but I do.

Well, you're not alone on that hoop. Actually, me, I don't like anything whatsoever about the 0230.

I really like the 0230. Saw one at a gun show over the weekend. Got to handle it and was very impressed. I would have bought one, but the guy had a brand new in the box 0560BW. And that is the one knife I regret selling more than any I've ever had. He wanted $400 for it but all I had was $300 on me. I handed it to him and he went for it. So the 0560BW has been in my pocket since Sunday. And to be honest, it is without a doubt tbe best knife ZT has ever made. It's definitely an early model, serial number is 1972, perfect centering and action, snappy detent and no lockbar insert. Was so happy to find that knife. The guy said it's been sitting in the back of his safe for years and figured he'd sell it. I was the first person to even notice it or know what model it was.

Several ZT dealers are advertising ALL their ZT knives at 35%+ off MSRP instead of the usual street price of 20% off MSRP.
I just bought a 640 for 45% off msrp! I had been looking at that model for some time.
Search the web.

The Les George sprint runs 0920BLUBLK and 0920TTS are out there at over 46% off. Not quite the closeout level of 56% off like the 0909 went for, but very tempting.

The lowest I can find is $195, which is 40% of the MSRP ($325). Still, it is too good a price to pass.
