On the ZT 0230
I've carried mine for a little while now, really enjoying it. The blade shape is perfect for my daily tasks and the ergos overall have been excellent, plenty of room for my L/XL glove size hands while still being featherlight. And, a nice little bonus feature I found is that its pretty easy to open with one hand if you are open to a two step process. Finally, I like to engrave something on my user knives, this one seemed perfect for the American Flag, I think it looks great on there. I highly recommend this model, its my favorite ZT in quite some time.

Two examples of how it should be, oddly enough from Kershaw/KAI. The flag is always advancing, never retreating. Our electricians at my work have a flag patch on their right shoulder and the stars are in the top left, should be top right. Bugs the hell out of me lol.Actually they got it correct according to a quick Google search. https://www.aflag.com/flag-etiquette/
Why is one correct and the other not (genuine curiosity)? Two examples of how it should be, oddly enough from Kershaw/KAI. The flag is always advancing, never retreating. The flag is always advancing never retreating. Think of the US flag on a flagpole. The stars are closest to the pole. When a flag bearer advances the flag (ideally if the wind cooperates) the stars are out in front. Why is one correct and the other not (genuine curiosity)?

I'd definitely want the less-than-overbuilt 0230 if it didn't have that goofy Anso hoop thing. I don't know why I hate the way that looks, but I do.

I just bought a 640 for 45% off msrp! I had been looking at that model for some time.Several ZT dealers are advertising ALL their ZT knives at 35%+ off MSRP instead of the usual street price of 20% off MSRP.

The Les George sprint runs 0920BLUBLK and 0920TTS are out there at over 46% off. Not quite the closeout level of 56% off like the 0909 went for, but very tempting.
