I like both the 0562 and the 0620 - will probably get the CF versions of both.

I've also found it difficult to understand ZT's business model with the LEs - why go to the bother of developing whole new designs and tooling just for very limited number runs, and in the meantime frustrate a lot of customers who love the knives, but don't want to pay after-market, custom-folder prices for them? But then for a couple of years I couldn't understand why ZT put out great hard-use folders only with recurve blades, and eventually they put that right.

What I would like to see - a ZT Emerson based on the CQC-10, and a 0454-M390 produced in sufficient numbers to be able to buy it without feeling ripped off.

A ZT Emerson CQC-10 would be awesome. I'd also like to see a SOCFK-A.

I'll vote for whichever one comes out the soonest!

I love what ZT brings to the SHOT show...their ideas are innovative, fresh, original, and exciting, and they collaborate with the best in the business...and so it also makes me very sad at the same time as I see stuff I love but know it may not be made at all and if it is then it could be a few years to production and likely in limited quantities to the point in which it quickly winds up selling 4 times or more of the MSRP.

The 801 and 454 have had me going gaga for a while...I wish I could locate either or both. Before that, the 777 did and it only took me three years to find one. There is probably a demand that is at least 100 people wanting a 777 for every one 777 made...possibly a lot more.

Whether KAI realizes it or not, there is a MASSIVE fan base of ZT collectors and a huge market for their semi-custom knives like the 777/454/801/etc. Heck, I am part of it. They do not need to worry if they bring a $500 knife to the market if it will fail by being too much money...although my guess is with a few awesome high-end Kershaws that just didn't take off for reasons other than issues with the knives themselves, they have hesitations. But they don't need to at this point...the ZT brand has generated enough followers for them to sell knives ranging from $100 to $1,000+...

Definitely adding the 562 to the short list, once available, and a bark river sts 5. Oh I can't wait haha :)

Hmmm.... the blade sure is different in this catalog photo... what happened to the nice stonewash, and the nice machined grind pattern below??? This blade just looks like a plain satin finish all over?????

The 0562 is an all stonewashed blade whereas the 0562CF starts as stonewashed but the bottom is machine satin finished.

I never understood why people like synthetic material ,especially carbon fiber so much .
They are a lot more expensive to make ,they crack and shatter into pieces when they DO break , so no warning there.
Titanium is pretty cool tho
I'll rather the grip have that .... soft grippy feel .. like wood or maybe G9/10 and stuff .

I'm not really interested in any of the new ZT knives except the ZT0770CF. I wish that one would sport m390 as well...
I still think ZT isn't catering to the small/sleek market. I'd like to see something size-wise along the lines of a Kershaw leek, BM 707, or CRK Small Sebenza.
Oh well.

I like the 0562 but I woofer if they will make a black or blackwashed blade version....

Anyone know if the ZT/Emerson is chisel ground? It doesn't look like it from the pic, but I want to make sure. I hope not.
