I have a ZT 0562 thanks to a forum member. I am loving it. Actually better then my Hinderer. I have a ZT 0801 on order.

You are going to love the 801 as well. It is really a great knife in my experience.

I have the original 801 and it is just such an amazing knife. I'm shocked, a full titanium framelock for such a fair low price.

My 801 has some of the best flipping action of any flipper knife I own.

IMHO the 0850 is currently the top dog and the best regular production ZT going.

The 0450 is a perennial winner, 0770cf if you want assisted.

0909 if you want a heavy duty beater.

But for a practical, larger but still light, super usable everyday cutter, the 0850 is the winner in my book.

i miss my 0801ti. only reason i don't have it anymore is because i don't have space in my collection for too many flippers.

i would like to try to handle a 0452, but currently wouldn't risk having a 4.1" blade delivered to my apartment. i've been having issues...

I've been putting off buying a 562/562cf now for over a yr. I have a 566 that I really like and it is just a tad small. I was hoping ZT would have dropped an update on the 562 this yr at shot or blade. You guys are enablers..;)

The 0801 is a really nice knife, so nice that i bought about 7 of them, mostly sprint models.

The only ZT that is readily available and is thin across the blade similar to a PM2 is the 770.

Scurvy mentioned the ZT0770CF - you could likely get that from Whitty or Kershawguy.

I have the ZT0770CFM4 - which has carbon fiber scales and M4 steel, and is only available through kniveshipfree, as it is their exclusive.

I would start with a ZT0770 of your choice, and then pick up any of the other great suggestions going forward.

I'll leave you a picture of my well-used 770CFM4 -

It's hard to beat a 770 for slicing.

Good luck!

If you want something as versatile as the pm2, I'd say the 452cf or the 801Ti. Both feel awesome in almost any grip, just like the pm2 and cut great. 452cf has a finer tip like the pm2, 801Ti has a more utilitarian blade shape but also very capable for finer use.

Now to be completely honest with you, you can't go wrong with any ZT. Good luck finding your first one!

Thanks. I will look that up. I love M4 steel. And slicey blades.
