I left out a few details...I own an 0560, 0550, and XM18 (3.5"); hence not seeing what the 0562 has to offer for me. Once I got rid of the stock scale, the 0550 became one of my favorite knives (my most carried version sports a copper scale). I'm a ZT fan, as well - I wasn't knocking the brand, or the knife...just wondering if there was sufficient reason to actually buy an 0562.The ergonomics on the 562 are very good, plus the blade grind makes for a fantastic slicer. All around it's a very good blade. Almost all those who've had one love it and can't find very much to complain about.
However, if you're familiar with the Hinderer ZT's then aside from the grind there really isn't much in terms of differences. All are ergonomic marvels and all are robust, very capable knives regardless of the use you may put them through.
I love them all but I'm a non apologetic ZT diehard so there's that too.
