Did Cold Steel ever produce an original knife? (or have produced)
Is it originality or functionality and quality we should be concerned with? I'd steer clear of CS if I thought its steel or quality control were lacking. But, originality? Puulleeaase! There are so many copies, imitations, and tributes of so many knives out there already. The 710? Ever seen it? How many different copies and imitations? I've even seen some knockoffs of some of my favorite Fallknivens.
I just asked what knives in their line are not copies of other pre-existing knives. I realize patterns of knives are copied as time goes by. But, there are some companies that seem to not have any or hardly any close copies of other blades. Spyderco comes to mind and Benchmade has a lot of original designs as well. -So what patterns are Cold Steel's very own? As far as being fresh and new.
