I had a de-waved Commander once upon a time; not my work... There's not even a spot to add zip ties to help on this knife fwiw.
It was stolen from me in a trade gone bad so I never got the chance to re-wave it LOL.

I've held off commenting on this thread , I've bitten my tounge, I've gone for long walks , I've talked it over with a therapist ,I've tried to keep my mind busy and not think off this .
Buttttttttttt..........
" I can't stand the look of all those Zip ties cobbled onto the blades of all those great looking knives ."
There , I said it out loud for all the world to know , I feel better now .

I can open it that way or with just the thumb...except when wearing winter gloves that have 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation.
Unlined leather gloves or ones with Kevlar lining work fine with it, but once winter rolls around, the gloves become too thick to do so.

Can you carry a fixed blade?
I'm super curious to what this set up is....
Can someone please Photoshop zip tie this guy's Emerson so he knows what he's missing out on?![]()
Man, all you have to do is take off the thumb disk and go to a hardware store and get a screw that fits and is taller than the spine. Boom. Re-waved.
