Zombie Survival Kit additions

I think if there was ever a "Zombie Apocalypse"(tm) then I'd have to go with my Viking machete from Condor. :D

Although I'd love to have one of these made some day. :D

Let's see, I got the one on the right at the beginning of the month:

Got this one in the other day:

And have the one below on the lower right coming in this week.

Ahh, one of my favorite topics. Zombie threads never get old. My personal choice for hand-to-hand zombie disposal would be a big Busse. I have a FFBM, a FBMLE, and a NMFBM to pick from. Judging from what they do to coconuts, a zombie's skull wouldn't stand much of a chance. You whack a coconut with a Battle Mistress, and it EXPLODES! Literally! Sending pieces everywhere. Better hope you don't get any zombie juice in your eyes or mouth though, or you'll be joining their ranks shortly.

I have one of these on order too- Condor El Salvador machete. This would probably make a decent choice for wastin' the undead. Although there's a good chance it might get stuck in a skull, and then you'd be screwed. Prolly have to go for the decapitation with one of these. Better work on that backhand swing!

A Cold Steel Brooklyn Smasher might be another good choice. A heavy, solid club that won't break is just the thing for cracking zombie skulls like melons at a Gallagher show.

When dealing with ghouls, you need to make sure you choose a weapon that won't break, and just as importantly, won't get hung up or wedged in bone. Zombies attack in packs.

You're going to love that El Salvador, Andy. It has the most dynamic handling of any Latin-styled machete I know of.

I thought you might approve. :D I've been looking for one of these for a long time. Finally found some in stock. The jungle in the vacant lot next to my building is quaking in fear of its arrival.

My 20" HI Sirupati or an 18" Machete should work for up close. Since we are talking Zombie Survival, I'd have plenty of Latex surgical/examination gloves to wear under leather gloves. Also goggles and a mask. I wouldn't want to get any of their gunk on me.

I'd like to use my shotgun, but....

Small: (I actually got to keep one of these, but in a walnut handle)

Medium: this is the trail knife. in military garb it's the field dirk. 7 inch 3/16 full convex blade.

Large: a bushbeater, which has a full convex grind spearpoint blade from a langseax design. Should do the job based on what I'm hearing from customers. Someday I'll get to OWN one instead of just testing them before sending them out :D

but if you really need 14 inches of goodness....

I'd propably rather have a long axe: has a good swing, heavier that any knife (splits those skulls) and more resilent than knife because the essence of zombie killing is to split the skull or chop the head off (lots of bone to crush). Backup is always different case ofcourse.

All this talk of zambies and weapons. I think id actually have to pull out my custom war hammer or mace i had made. There's not much ive found that can stand up to it yet, let alone a rotting zambie skull.

Not a knife, but I'd have to say lots and lots of holy water - makes the zombies go away and is great for rehydration.

I'm pretty sure holy water doesn't work on zombies. All holy water would do is wash the stink off of them a little bit. Gasoline on the other hand.... works wonders!
