Zombie Survival Kit additions

My choice always goes back to a lightsaber.

Since none of the knifemakers on here have seen fit to make a lightsaber :p, not even one with a purple blade :D ;), I would have to go with a tried and true katana.

However, to quote Jules from Pulp Fiction, "We should have shotguns for this sh**."

I think I'd take a nice dao for zombie killin' before I'd grab a katana. ;)

i prefer a katana over a dao, mainly because i have more training with one and i'm not as familiar with a dao.

on a side note, i wonder how well a cold steel war hammer would work smashing these guys up.

and we didnt specify the type of zombies. are these those slow ones that kinda walk towards you with their arms out mumbling "brainnnnn" or are they those suckers that run real fast at ya and jump from place to place? :D

I'm from the "old school" mindset when it comes to zombies.
-the ball headed war club. The eastern tribes didn't take no s*** from zombies so they developed weapons from a renewable source that can be readily made en-mass in case of a swarm.Their villages were designed around defense from mass attacks from many attackers at close range.(see Pomeioc village)
look to the past to secure your future.

Whoa! Nice to see such a blade in these parts once in a while (I've had the privilege of studying and handling Chinese weapons briefly from traditional folks). That thing is pure sweetness!

Can't argue with the folk-wisdom when it comes to martial culture!

Tactically as well inflicting structural damage, rather than a vascular one, takes the fight out immediately, especially if there are hordes of them already dead!

Well I was going to suggest a Cricket Bat, but I think you won! :D

On the other hand I can use my baby:

Mossberg 500A Persuader 7+1 & +6 w/side saddle. Blackhawk Knoxx Compstock so you won't wear out your shoulder while taking down Zeds.

OK, but the question was what are you going to add THIS MONTH, not what you already have.

Did you buy all that this month?

(I think the this month qualification exists because it shows just how sick and diseased we are to go to the lengths we do to justify buying new blades).

Didn't you know that the loss of one's job is one of the initial onset symptoms of the zombie apocalypse??? When your employer gets zombified it's impossible to run a business!

I'd be afraid the light saber batteries would crap out !
I'd go with my Ontario Marine Raider Bowie.
Rat Pack #222

Didn't you know that lightsabers never run out of juice? They run off the unlimited power of Hollywood! :D
