Glad the pics helped tide you over 'til Monday. :D Its a very nice knife, wider than most of my other folders, except for my Buck Alpha Hunter. Not as thick, though. The SpeedSafe is exceptional and the "thwack" when it locks up on opening is very satisfying.

Man I want one of these knives but I already have 2 Emersons which I absolutely love and just can't justify spending money on another $100 "tactical" knife, atleast not right now.

this knife is awesome. i'm really thinking about getting one. my friend has one and he likes it. the edges on the handle are rounded (so they dont dig your hand), it has strong lock. one thing i did see on yours was the pocket clip was scratched up when u got it... so was his he though it was a reject he got at first.

the thumb stubs a lot of people complain about them being right up on the handle and not being very functional. i believe the thumb stubs main use on the knive is acually to stop it when closing. there is no bar inside to stop because of the assisted opening so unless u want the blade smacking into the g10 everytime u close it then the thumb stubs in a good place.

i'm trying still deciding if i want the 350 or the 200. any1 have both knives want to give some input? the 200 is alittle larger (.4 inch blade and i believe .5 handle) but it's only 154cm steel compared to s30v.

was the blade and point really sharp when u got it?

I remember somebody linking to a comparison between the 350 and another zt...cant remember if it was the 300 or 200. Anyone remember that link? Or better yet, can somebody post some new comparison pics?

Regards

The design is similar to the Leek. The flipper doesn't leave any space for a stop bar, so the thumb studs are designed to stop blade travel. There are some light scratches on the clip. They don't bother me, cause this knife will be used and there should be more scratches eventually. The blade seems acceptably sharp, it doesn't seem quite as sharp as my Leek was out of the box.

I sure like my satin finished one I got from knifeworks. It cuts like a hot razor! feels good in the hand to.

I'm very happy. It was plenty sharp out of the box, just not as sharp as my Leek, which took a slice out of my finger when I first opened it.

The standard BladeForums response is buy both. :D

I think either one will be a good choice based on my limited experience with ZT knives. The 0200 will have a longer blade by 1/2" and the DLC coating.

I've had mine since Memorial Weekend. I got it while I was at SMKW...they had 2 in stock one PE & one CE . I got the PE. This knife is no where near the 0200 but it is not supposed to be. this knife is very well made, Solid lock up & fairly sharp.

If you don't want to spend $100+ on this knife then you need to try a JYDII like this-

Compare the ZT to the JYDII

My Brother just purchased this knife from SMKW last weekend & it's AWSOME for $80.00 G10 handles are a rougher texture than the ZT, same size/thickness liner& lock as the 0350 & just a fuzz thinner blade as the ZT ! the blade is CPM-D2 .
This knife does NOT have the Speed Safe open but is a flipper & is one of the smoothest I have ever flipped ;) Down side - Right hand clip only & ugly oversized pocket clip.

i think that pic u posted coal summed it up... the jyd is slightly smaller then the 200 (about 1/2 an inch) and after feeling the 350 the 200 would be WAY to big to carry (cops would be all over me). i really didnt think the 200 was that big until i seen the pic side by side with the jydII . i just ordered the 0350 with the dlc coating :) s30v sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

i will get the 100 for when OBAMA finishes this country off

thx for the awesome replies guys.

My 0350KW arrived today and I really, really like it. Solid lockup, perfectly centered and has nice heft. All in all I think it's a great knife.

I modded(sanded and clearcoated) my 0350. Not show quality perfect but my pockets are livivg a little better. I got a Satin Pe coming and I think I'll ask Firebert to make some cool scales for that one.
