I've also been dreading the Refund email from HoB for about four hours now. So far I'm still in an "Awaiting Fulfillment" status but I keep waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop.

I'm the same. Hope you get yours. Did you choose free shipping? That's what I took just because it was default. Maybe they're getting orders processed that paid for expedited shipping? Sure, I'll keep telling myself that, lol.

ZT is smart though, they kept the price below midtechs as to beat them without trying to compete with them. How are they beating them? Anyone that drops $400 on an LE has $400 less to drop on another knife namely a sub $500 midtech, and the LE's value is possibly higher simply because it is an LE. It is not technically competing with midtechs because it is a full production knife. Maybe I'm over thinking this but it is my opinion.

I don't care to speculate why ZT chose to manufacture a specific number and I don't think that they will sell on the secondary market for a crazy amount when a RHK Eklipse is only a couple hundred more.

What most of the people here and on other forums fail to realize is that we are only a fraction of the consumer base that ZT sells to, or KAI in general. We dont make up even a small part of their market in all honesty. Most of the "opinions" i see here are so far off base, and selfish it pains me to read. Please realize that KAI sells millions of knives a year and that we are fortunate to even get a chance at these knives as they could easily sell these to a brick and mortar store and we would never even know they existed. Its very frustrating listening to most of you bitch and complain about their selling models and methods, seeing as they have been this successful. Please stop complaining, dropping suggestions and when you are fortunate enough to score an LE(that most of you probably wont carry) consider yourselves lucky and revel in the fact you got one.

From what I've seen the 0392 has better steel and kvt ball bearing system, I'd rather have it than a rick hinderer. You can check sold zt 0454 on ebay only a few sold for $700ish and I think one or two were used. The lowest price I saw was almost 1k forsale atm

I wasn't going to waste precious seconds trying to decide the best shipping option, so I chose the default free shipping. I sure hope that it doesn't take this long to notify people that they oversold and they're out of luck. It's been damn near six hours now, so maybe it's time to start being optimistic.
