If it's 1/32 of an inch, you should be able to insert a piece of paper between the pivot screw and the scale. I can't do that with mine. Can you do it with yours? If you can, your knife is defective. Return it to your dealer for an exchange or send it in to ZT for repair or replacement.
Got it. The fact that the pivot screw heads rest on top of the scales rather than recessed within them doesn't particularly bother me, but I understand that some people might not like it. As I said before, however, I'm just grateful ZT developed a knife that actually suits my needs. To be honest with you, I never thought that would happen.
So is this a limited edition or just out of stock? I remember hearing it's regular production
