I've been waiting for this one postman dropped it off like 15mins ago.
I'll be flipping this the rest of the day....I like it so far.

Next to my other CF's
ZT, 940-1 and 484-1

Love the CF collection... nice knives too! I have the 0770 CF and absolutely cannot imagine what I would do without it river fishing. That knife is a straight up machine!!!!

I wholeheartedly regret selling my M390 version. I was so dead-set against AOs at the time that I was blind to what an amazing knife it was...

I really like the looks of this knife in pictures, but it didn't do it for me in real life the way several other ZT models do.
I know I should have expected it, but I was shocked at how small and light it was.
Glad you dig it, OP

As you can tell I like small light EDC's.

I've always been very curious about this knife but never actually pulled the trigger. How's the contouring of the handle? Big flat slabs of G10 or CF always feel aweful to me and create tons of hot spots. Going strictly by pictures it appears the 0777cf is the very definition of a flat slab of CF. Am I wrong in that assessment?

Handle contour is great.
Nothing big/fat about it

The fingers fit perfect and the flipper is a great choil

The palm fits perfect over the rounded portion of the handle.

You mentioned 0777 this is the 0770.

I think it's an amazing knife. When I want hearty light weight, that's the one I grab. In fact, I've given two of them away as gifts because I thought it just fit the person...and they really needed a decent knife.

That's it. This sucker is surprisingly beefy (the blade) and light (the handle) at the same time. It's kind of weird, I'm holding a Leek and the 0770 now and the ZT looks like a beast to the Leek but I swear the Leek weighs more.

Hey guys i was wondering if any of you have seen the zt 0095an. Its an 95th anniversary knife for snap on tools

I've always loved the 0770cf but haven't pulled the trigger, maybe the price is out of my comfort zone, but perhaps one day, she is a beaut.

I have the same 3 folders, awesome EDC tools.
I really like my 0770CFM390, the M390 is definitely easier to get a heinously sharp edge on than the S90V. I will say it has taken me a bit to get used to the look and feel of using the upswept edge of it, I'm more used to a negative blade angle.
I had to have it though, as a counterpoint to the 0561 and 0562. I'm getting hooked on ZT's functional designs and excellent build quality.

Well I took some money I earned from from a wildfire deployment And pulled the trigger on the 770 CF at the local store.

This is my first ZT. I've never really been interested in them because Spydercos are always calling my name.

Wow. What an amazing EDC.
Can't believe a 3.25 blade is packed in such a light package.

Perfect size and weight, width.

It's also just a very attractive knife.

I am a huge fan of the Kershaw Link. This is the upgrade for sure.

Everything that makes the link great plus better size and materials.

Something I noticed on the newer models.

The carbon fiber weave is large and more rhomboid shaped in pattern. Much like the KSF version in M4 DLC.

I love mine......

I have the CFM4 version and love it - I have been carrying it every day - it is just a perfect little companion knife and the blade profile is great for slicing, which is a good deal of what I use a knife for on a daily basis.

The CF is the newer "peel-ply" material that ZT has been using for over a year now -

best

I've had mine for some time now and it has replaced every other knife as my go to EDC.
The handle fits my hand, the blade shape is very versatile and the steel holds its' edge very well. It is also very light with a thin profile.
A great knife...enjoy and use yours regularly...
