maybe a few less angry fans?! but who cares about them..its all about the money. how about making it regular production and make even more money

That would only mean that some models would still possibly exist in stores if it were regular production. Something ZT wouldn't want due to

the materials, machining and design being unique and time consuming to assemble. If this were regular production, ZT would most likely have to make this knife overseas like Spyderco does (not that there's anything wrong with that).

The LE status on this knife is what makes it so desirable, I think its a good decision by ZT. Also keep in mind its a ~$500 knife, not many people shell out that kind of money on a knife. This is new ground ZT is treading be patient and let them do their job.

I'd rather they take their time and make it a quality knife rather than rush the knife with low QC standards

Oh you again :dejection:, You do realise they can and will do what they want to!? If they have a bitter taste in their mouth you can't really blame them. It will be here when it gets here.

You do also realise that the statement above is pretty much completely out of line? If anything their involment here and other places along with their awesome customer service absolutely contradicts what you are saying. I get that you and a few others might be a little upset, but bitching isn't going to do anything to change where it stands. I would have thought that it was obvious it isn't making a difference.:bull_head: Voicing an opinion is one thing, beating it into the ground is another. Honestly.

[decloakes]

I've been following this and similar threads for a long time.

Speaking as a long time bladeforum lurker, and a guy who has about 30 Kershaw and ZT knives and would love to get the 777 and 600 if I could (though I fear I won't be able to get them due to limited production and my Canadian location), the manner in which the 777 release has been handled has led to some frustration and dare I say some loss of good will towards the manufacturer.

That's all. I'll still buy their knives if I have the opportunity. Such is life.

Folks, I think this thread has runs it's course. I will post more information when I have it.
