The 0888 is the knife Im most looking forward to. I really want one and don't care how long it takes to get to market Ill be waiting to grab one

I expect the whining on the 0888 and 0600 to start the day the 0777's hit the street at the latest. My personal opinion is that there will be more whining about the 0600 than the 0888 though since, as I understand it, the 0600 is a limited run and the 0888 is a regular production item. I'm going to have to see an 0888 in real life before I start lusting for one, the pictures I've seen haven't really done it for me. The 0600, on the other hand, looks great to me but it might be a bit too big. Getting a little further off topic here but does anyone know approximately what the pricing is going to be on these two?
 
From what I hear there are two versions of the 0888 at 250 units each. Dont know what they will sell for
 
Okay, I just found a pre-order for the 0600 for what I think is a pretty reasonable price. Now the question is whether to pull the trigger, pretty reasonable is still pretty expensive and HK just got more of my money this morning. Too many cool toys, to little money!

I want to say the 0600 will be under $400. The 0888 I have no clue. Maybe around the same as the 0777 which is pretty cool all things considered. If I'm wrong, someone please feel free to correct me.
 
Preorders don't mean you'll get them.. KAI does a Lottery system so dealers don't know if they will get any or how much.. I never preorder and haven't had a problem getting any.

Whats the best way to get one then? I think I read that KAI is only producing 1000.

I'm gonna get every last one of them. I couldn't be without one of these in my possession.
At least one 0600 will get carried. The Groove is in my top 5 favorite folders and this version will be outstanding.
 
Never thought about preordering anything, and now I want a 777 more than any knife Ive seen... and can't find a single place to preorder. Guess that's my luck.

Here are the retail prices of all of those and approximately how many will be made. The 0888 and 0888MAX are on the lottery (which will be taking place here very soon) and the others are going to be allocated by FIFO.

0888 $499, 250 pieces, lottery
0888MAX $499, 250 pieces, lottery
0600 $425, 1000 pieces, FIFO
0560CBCF $425, 1000 pieces, FIFO

Really looking forward to all of these. They are beauties. :)

And just so everyone knows long in advance - I do not know exactly when these are coming out. But I guarantee it won't be before 3rd quarter 2013.

I honestly wasn't sold on that model when I first heard about it and saw a picture.

Then I held one. And everything changed.

I honestly think it's one of the most beautiful knives we've ever made.
