There is always a few dozen extra made, for warranty exchanges and other potential issues, there are also some blems that may get put out there at some point, the ones that just don't make the cut.
 
I was literally minutes late on it this morning. Damn. It's a sweet blade. Maybe I'll get one second hand.

I was about an hour late. I actually called them and nope, no go. Lady said that's it for them they will not be getting anymore in supposedly.

Sad things for me is, I was off work today and I laid my ass in bed for at least two hours before logging into the computer to check up on things.
 
Called a few dealers and one had one for $350. Is that a good price?

A couple of the dealers mentioned that these are a distributor exclusive.

If I could get $350 for my 51 Morpho (no box) and 581, then yes, it's a good price. If not, then it's too expensive. I think I'll go cry now since KW says they won't be getting any more...
 
Rev: Well since you got 4 and I missed the KW bonanza yesterday….I'm not saying. I'm just saying ;) Hit a brother up!
 
I do believe that other dealers will be getting some more of these in stock in the very near future. I want to buy a second one as a present for #2 son but don't plan on paying exorbitant prices for one. Big dealers like BHQ or KC or National or KSF will probably ask more for the knife than KW did when they get their allotment (I've heard that could be as soon as today or tomorrow), but I don't expect to see them priced in the $350 range.

Of course, this is all speculation and I could certainly be wrong. But I plan to wait and see for my son's knife. :)

Zt hasn't been releasing blems of any of their recent limited editions that I know of. There are no 0560cbcf, 0777, 0600 blems out there.
 
KW said they made a mistake in allowing customers to purchase more than one but will not send one per customer since they did not say so on the order page. Also, they don't have any more and won't be getting any more. Bummer!

Their Facebook page mentioned 1 per customer, so I only ordered one. Had I known, I would have ordered my Son's at the same time as mine. Oh, well. I'll find him one somewhere else. I'm sure that one of the other big dealers will have some available. :)
