I also paid MAP on my two 0777-M390 from two different dealers. I've seen dealers selling them for anywhere between MAP and in one case above MSRP. I make note of the super-greedy dealers so as not to give them any future business or recommend them to others.
 
I'm clearly doing something wrong here. I'm on about 6 notify lists and have a pre-order that probably won't get filled. I got my first notify toay, but the dealer was out of stock when I checked about 15 minutes after receiving the email. Hopefully as others have said there will be more available after this initial scramble. If not, oh well. I can't justify paying any premiums.
 
Houseofblades might still have some black DLC ones you can order but I'm sure the uncoated ones will become more available in the coming week or so!

Excited for the DLC coated one if its anything like the Tilt DLC coated it was even smoother than the stonewashed just my experience though :D
 
Thanks. Yeah I've been debating ordering a DLC coated one just so I have one. But never been a fan of coated blades. I'm just gonna believe enough stonewashed will be available for those of us keepin an eye out. Hope springs eternal!
 
Will a charitable soul have pity & please PM me & point me in the right direction? I saw this thread before but somehow confused it with the 770 & overlooked it.

I don't know if people are stupid or impatient. Everybody that is into knives like this should know that there still a couple hundreds coming. Knife people have too much money.
 
Well if you have been waiting the few years since they announced it a few hundred dollars is nothing....
 
Looks like KnifeWorks is getting their shipment real soon and will be serving the old preorders first. So, hopefully BladeHQ & KnifeCenter are not too far behind.

You bet they are. They are Canadian. I bought my 0560 from them when they were first coming out. Had no issues at all.

They used to be called E.D.C. Canada but are now named Guardian Gear.

I'm assuming the groove in the blade can act as a thumb deployment. How is opening the 777 without the flipper?

Definitely can't open it with just your thumb. Detent is strong enough. You can use the thumb & index finger pinch but it's a little tough. Thumb and index finger of support hand is easy manual opening.

I hope KnifeCenter has them in soon! Haven't heard a thing on preorder but I'm sure things will work out either way. Thanks for the heads up.
