Hold the knife like you are trying to open it with your thumb. Snake your pointer finger behind and pinch the blade at the French cut and posh the blade open. Once you break the current, you can open it the rest of the way with just your thumb. It's super easy.

Not picking on you specifically but just the other day , maybe a week or two ago, I read a thread about how people wish that the newer L.E.'s came with a zippered pouch such as the Kershaws of yesteryear. Now we don't like the pouch because it's cheap! It's funny how picky we Knife consumers are :)

Really? So the plastic bag they usually come in would be better?
And I don't know about you, but the only time I'll ever see that pouch is when I take the knife out of the box, and put the pouch back in the box, where it will stay forever.
 
Didn't say the pouch was top grain leather with real wool lining. It is a nice touch, I didn't pay for the knife expecting it so it's a bonus.
 
I could care less about a bag or zippered pouch. The knives could come wrapped in newspaper and I'd be just as happy.
 
I was wondering about the pouche when I got mine on Monday but since I didn't get one I assumed it didn't come with one. Well, until a post above that got a pouche. So, I checked with one of my drug :) ZT dealers and the gentleman confirmed that the 0777-M390 indeed does not come with a pouche.

Darn, mine didn't, but i could care less i plan on carrying it
