ZT kills off 4 models

Very tempted to pick up an 804cf now that the price is a bit more reasonable. (Ha! I should run that by my wife. Look, at my new ZT, I got it for $200!) Not that I in any way need one, but it is such a sweet knife, i really kinda want it. No other reason. And I don't even like DLC!

While the 0801 carries surprisingly well for its weight, the 0900 carries even better. Yes, the flipper tab REALLY sticks out, but given that its short length stays well above the bottom of my pocket, it hasn't been an issue. The 0900 is a bit thick to be a good slicer, but it's fine for other EDC stuff.

I love me some 0801, but it's always been a bit big for me to EDC (YMMV). Honestly, the biggest reason I like the 0900 is BECAUSE of it's stubby overbuilt-for-size silliness. It ALWAYS puts a smile on my face, which is justification enough. It's hard for me to resist picking up a spare.

Thanks for that pic, 4mer. I'm looking at both the 0900 and 0909 as I really like Les George's stuff, but seeing the 900 next to the 801 I can tell the little guy won't fit my hand well at all. I'm going for the big one. Thanks for saving me 150 bucks! :p

Just got my 0909 yesterday. At un-boxing I was a bit underwhelmed, as the knife is quite plain in its execution, but the more I handled it the more I liked it. I took it to work today and am really glad I got it--I think this'll be a frequent jobsite companion. Here's a few pics including some side-by-sides with my other Les George knife, a Wilson Combat Eagle, which is a particular favorite.

The clip and the 1st gen. scalloped scales should have never been used. 2nd gen. scales feel better in my hand.
I still like both of mine.
