That's in the eye of the beholder. To me, the damascus pattern could certainly have been done better and looked better. The light effect on the handle in this video makes the knife look better as well.

I think it’s a neat looking knife. I’ve just never been able to rationalize the cost of the “factory customs.” I maybe came close with the Blue Bowie though.
