Zt0392

Love this. Put me down for one. ZT and Hinderer are great together. Hope this isn't a crazy LE run. Wonder when they'll hit the street.

Tip down only carry?

I figure if the MSRP of the 0562CF (M390 and CF) is $300 then the MSRP of the 0392 should be at least that much and may be $350+.

Personally, worth the extra milling and cost to lighten the titanium handles.

Rooting for it to be a regular production just like the 0562CF.

This is very nice and I prefer this blade grind over the Tanto on the Eklipse! I just can't get into tango blades for some reason! I like the look but do not find them practical. I am on board when this blade comes out for sure!

Really hope they make enough to go around on this one :)

No, it had tip up.

I hate it when they do limited runs of an entirely new design. The 777, 888, and 780 were like that, and I'm sure I'm forgetting another one.

If I get my hands on one for a few hundred bucks and then the secondary market blows up and all of a sudden it's worth double.... I'd probably sell it. :o
I'm reluctant to carry that much value and rarity in my pocket. So I hope it's not limited, so I can actually keep it and enjoy carrying the thing.

Wow, I really want this:eek:

I hope they offer different colors of anodized hardware, I'd love a stonewashed Ti handle with bronze anodized hardware:thumbup:

Am I the only one that finds this pretty boring when compared to past Blade show Zero Tolerance releases? I was expecting something groundbreaking and this just underwhelmed. Sure it looks like a great knife and all but past Blade Show knives from them have been fantastic and it seems they didn't do anything new this year minus this one. Meh all around. Just hoping for more 0777s, 0888s, 0454s, 801cf, tilts, 0600, etc.

First post to the forum and let me just say, when I first saw the 0392 on IG I knew that I'd have to buy one. I just hope they make enough to go around.

I was happy for about 5 seconds when I saw it, then I was angy because I know I'll never be able to get one. It's a cool design with customizable parts made by ZT, you can pretty much guarantee it's only going to be a small run. In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up at $600-$700 on the secondary market. I'm not ever paying that much for a production knife from a production company.

This knife IS the Eklipse. It's not ZT's take on a model, it is the model.

I would imagine that the size is the same as well.

This is as close as you can get to a production version of a custom knife. I'm guessing that's why they are calling it a 'Factory Custom'.

This is going to be very interesting and could be a game changer. I remember from the round table discussion from Blade last year where Thomas and Jim were talking about the process of the designers working with the production engineers at KAI to tweak designs to fit what was and wasn't possible for mass production. With this, it sounds like the ZT is taking it a step further with the Hinderer partnership to put one of his custom knives through production. To have interchangeable hardware between ZT and Hinderer means both of them will have to make the parts to very exacting specifications and tolerances. With ZT's ongoing relationships with custom designers/makers like Hinderer, Rexford, Sinkevich, RJ Martin, Emerson, and others, this really has some pretty amazing potential.

Exactly!! To establish this kind of partnership, with this degree of cooperation, opens whole new vistas of possibilities with these other fine craftsmen, as well. I will be on my knees praying every day that this experiment is smoother, and more productive and profitable, than either ZT or Hinderer were hoping for. I WANT this to work. I want this kind of collaboration to become commonplace with ZT. Yikes, this is exciting.

Would love it without the finger grooves.

This. They ruin the lines of the knife.

I'm still holding out for a 0454M390 that's a little closer looking to the original Sinkevich prototype. But the features on this one are good enough for me to consider snapping one up.
