Was this the only new model by Kai? I haven't heard a peep or seen anything else new from the show
 
Have to wait and see on this one. Hope they have other offerings. I have not treated my self in some time.

Wow! Just... wow!! Being a "limited run" I guessing if you don't get one at retail upon initial release that the secondary market will be brutal. Probably similar to what "real" Hinderers go for on the secondary market. Dang... Rick and KAI are on fire though... really hitting on all cylinders in 2014!
 
Ram... do u know if the at 0566 will ever be available in titanium? Also any 3inch blade models being released?
 
My goal is to have all the variations of he 0801, but sadly I'm missing the brown wash right now :( definitely looking forward to the black and black wash. The 801 is definitely my favorite production folder at this point in my addiction.

Both are very doubtful in the near future. Hopefully, one day we'll see a ZT version of XM-18 3".

ZT 0392 is about the same size as the ZT 0562CF and both flippers seem to have a 3.5" blade of M390. The big plus on the 0392 is titanium on both sides! Of course, there's a premium for that but for an additional $60 (seemingly) that's pretty sweet plus you get the extra accents.

All the blue accents in the picture: clip, standoffs, etc. plus LBS and pivot screw are Hinderer. You can order different colors like bronze direct from Hinderer to replace the blue ones.
 
You can see both sides of the 0392, MSRP is $375, Limited Edition (each variation) and out by the end of the year (hopefully).

PS - You can also see what looks to be 0350CF, 0566BW, 0566CF and 0801BW (I'm guessing on the model numbers).

In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up at $600-$700 on the secondary market. I'm not ever paying that much for a production knife from a production company.

I can confirm I played with a 0350CF, 0566CF, 0801BW blackwash. All fine pieces.

The 0392 is a rediculous piece when you think about it. "Factory Custom". You got a knife that you can put Rick's hardware on. Thats just insane, it has immense possibilities. It really felt like you were holding a Hinderer and it flipped just a touch bit better. I felt it was worthy of the name given.

I'm guessing there will be a number of different limited edition runs with different blade grinds, finishes, colors, possibly handle scales, etc. Plus, if you don't like the colors of the hardware you can always get a different color direct from Hinderer.
