ZT0560 prices: what am I missing?

Thats not even a subjective comparison. Not to many Ferrari owners losing sleep at night wondering if they should trade in their ride for a Subbie. You shouldn't have to justify why you would choose the custom original over a production knife. Thats silly. You just know thats what you should have. As long as you have the money and appreciation, get the Hinderer. Who eats hotdogs on purpose when they have the money and know the steak taste better? People like to justify their purchases from their own perspective in life. The flaw in this is, not everyone in life shares that particular perspective.

Well, I qualified that by saying "for me" its overpriced.

I came close to grabbing one when newgraham had about 45 in stock - which lasted a few hours. Its sweet looking, no doubt. And you describe its good attributes well. But $260 is just a lot of coinage, especially when I already have enough folders to supply the Bolivian army. And my ZT0551 gets very little pocket time, as its just too heavy and bulky for my current tastes.

I can't say the 0560 is objectively not worth the price. But for that kind of money, and for me, I'd rather have a black/black Para 2 with black hardware, and $130 left over.

I can respect that opinion that you'd rather have a great knife and the extra money, but the 0560 is definitely not overpriced. Got mine today and its phenomenal

I do not carry big folders. I have however been carrying a 0560 in my back pocket for a couple weeks now and I'm surprised how well it carries. It's thin..light and the deep pocket carry clip is great. The fit and finish is fantastic and it opens effortlessly. Considering all the things I just mentioned and the materials used I can easily say in my opinion this knife is priced right.
