..................................

I'm very sorry for causing all this trouble and for my childish acts.. I really didn't think tis through before posting this thread.. I was just angry. Again I'm sorry

Step in the right direction. I remember being thirteen. If this is the worst thing you do at this age, consider yourself a good kid. :)

definitely a wrong move but why so much continued hate? obviously this was the wrong thing to do but i think the point has been made, i dont think there is a need to keep beating a dead horse. btw i am also a teenager and have had nothing but bad experiences trading with others online, there are quite a bit of people try to take advantage of the fact you arnt 18 and use it as an excuse to give you poor service and quality, at least that been my experience.

That's a big step in the right direction there. Apology accepted. Now do you want to reverse the trade or not? Your call. If you do, box mine up and send it back, and expect the cost of postage to be included in the box with yours.

No I think I'll keep it

Because of the way he keeps talking of breaking the rules and snaking around the problem.

legitimate point about the creating a new account, it just seems like theres a difference between trying to hold someone accountable (something which can probably be handled by the seller and/or moderators) and having a group of people simply attack him and his age group.

Has nothing to do with age. He's only 2 years younger than me. It's more of his attitude. Which it seems like it's improving. As long as he owns up to his mistake, and learns I have nothing against trading with him in the future, if the opportunity ever arises.

People were attacking his behavior. Comments of his age group were made, but definitely not the source of the comments just most kids will behave in similar fashion.
Don't see how we should lay off just because he's a kid, if no one says anything to him he'll continue with years of bad practice.

How does anyone no your age unless you disclose it, also strange that all of your trading experiences have been bad.

Your first steps into the adult world were a little rocky there, you have to remember that there are far more good people here than bad.

Just relax, take a few lumps and move on, you'll get further in life that way. ;)

What Kiah and others are saying = good advice.

It's not necessarily that way. The majority of this forum is adults. If you need proof, it is at the bottom of every single page:

I don't know how much clearer it can get to be honest. There is a certain level of expectations that folks here hold. The knife community is small, but it has a long memory. Word travels fast across various forums, both the good and the bad. That is why we have clearly outlined rules indicating what to do, when to do it, and what not to do. It's up to the individual that signs up to read the rules, but by signing up for an account and posting here, you are agreeing to abide by them. Honesty, integrity, and selflessness are at the core.

We have a tech support dedicated to answering questions that arise, there is no excuse not to ask a mod when in doubt. There are also sticky'd threads that have information on various topics that span almost 15 years. It's not hate, it's frustration maybe? That so many clues are out there, yet no one can be bothered to take a few mnutes out of their busy day.

because im relativity uncreative and most of my usernames over social media are the same, including the one for my youtube channel. i made a few transactions through people on youtube and eventually got tired of the bad experiences i was having, i think i posted a thread about a very negative experience a while back.

I don't think anyone's attacking his age group. I will say this, young people do tend to be more impatient and impulsive. That's not a slam on anyone, and I was that way myself. I made my mistakes and did my learning before BF existed. Sometimes it's hard to deal with someone still at a learning age, because we never know when the impulsiveness might show itself like it did in here. Once again, not a slam on any young person in here.

The Digicam scale?
Others had reported of his bad craftsman ship, so it was not related to your age.

Any other transactions?

That's just wrong. Being young doesn't make it OK for anyone to screw you over. Your money and knives are just as good as mine.

this is what im kinda having trouble understanding, why its up to people to enact their own version of parenting over social media, to me its never made sense that people feel empowered to fix a persons behavior or attitude when they have no knowledge on the person themselves. but regardless everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Anyone can teach another person something, if that person is willing to learn. As for being empowered and fixing something about a person, I can't unless they want to learn. In this case, Isaac seems to want to learn, so we can teach him. He'll come through this a little more mature, and a lot better trading partner.
