because im relativity uncreative and most of my usernames over social media are the same, including the one for my youtube channel. i made a few transactions through people on youtube and eventually got tired of the bad experiences i was having, i think i posted a thread about a very negative experience a while back.

So are mine, but I'm pretty sure anyone here knew how old I was before I told them.

You get the point

I also live a couple miles from a fellow BF member. He treats me no different from anyone else, and we even hang out sometimes.

The Digicam scale?
Others had reported of his bad craftsman ship, so it was not related to your age.

Any other transactions?
i was upset about the quality of the scale but your right that was not due to my age, what made the transaction remarkably bad was the personal insults/attacks about my age that he sent me through email when i was trying to get a refund for the work. there have been one or two other negative transactions but none of which are pertinent to bladeforums.

That guy was a... you know what.
He was just pushing your buttons.
I think a member summed it up well:
Stealing from peter to pay paul.

Anyone can teach another person something, if that person is willing to learn. As for being empowered and fixing something about a person, I can't unless they want to learn. In this case, Isaac seems to want to learn, so we can teach him. He'll come through this a little more mature, and a lot better trading partner.

very true.

Well this is the most complaining and arguing I've ever seen in any bf thread

ignorance is bliss huh?
I remember early in my BF career getting in a argument with someone (I think it was Lone_Wolfe actually) I don't remember what it was about, but I do remember it being about something stupid I said. I got heated up and started to argue, point is I learned to not post on impulse, and think about what I'm saying. The only way you learn is to do something stupid, that you'll remember in the future.

yes i was upset about the scale, but your are correct in that it was not due to my age. what made the transaction remarkably bad for me was the personal insults/attacks regarding my age he sent me through email when i requested a refund. there have been one or two other purchases that have been negative but none of which are pertinent to bladeforums.

If it was me, I don't even remember it. :o

Can I blame old age or chemo brain? :p

I always blame these type of things on "don't give a damn", tends to be true for most occasions.
:D

When that's the case I just tell people I'm out of GAS. GAS = Give a $#!^. :p :D Or that my give-a-damn is busted. :D :D

No excuse needed. Like I said it was something stupid I said. And if anything I should thank you for teaching me the life skill of thinking before speaking. So thank you.

Hey, I'll take credit for doing some good, even if I don't remember. :p You're very welcome, and thank you.

Don't keep it because you think you have to. If you change your mind, let me know before midnight, I'll trade back. If you're sure you want to keep it, then we're good. I'm satisfied with the knife I got.

As I said I'd do, I gave him time to change his mind. He didn't, in fact he sent me another email apologizing and telling me he really does want to keep the knife. So as far as I'm concerned, this transaction is done, and Isaac and me are good.

Now I need to stay off here, I'm visiting a sick friend. Later all, and thank you for the support.

This was a good "bad" thread. Showed a lot of members trying to help a young guy learn a few things. It's nice when things work out. Lone Wolfe is one of my favorite members here, isaacawesome, good job owning up bub, there are many twice your age that wouldn't do that:thumbup:

Hope your friend gets well soon Wolfe!

Lone_Wolfe, the class and grace with which you've handled this situation speaks volumes.

Very well said. I couldn't agree more.
It's good to see things working out as they should.
