I've been wondering where the heck my steel is. Every time I hear a thump or bang up stairs I'm thinking, thats got to be my 1095. Now I'm wondering what were those thumps and bangs. Aldo, my forging finger is getting itchy........

so does that work out to $24 per stick shipped assuming you buy at least 4?

Wait a minute!! Read CAREFULLY!!

Bars are 9 pounds with a 4 bar minimum for free shipping. That's 36 pounds @ $3.00 per pound = $108.00. (Unless you're Ray, then you get everything free!)

One more silly question. Are the bars finished with square edges or are the hot rolled/rounded like the smaller 1084? The reason I ask is that have something specific in mind for this stuff an I need a general idea of how wide I can forge it out.

The bars are square edged.

Dewey, I can get 8 in a bundle, the 9th takes you over 70 and then some one would need to help the driver. The closer to 70 you get the cheaper the shipping as well (Which doesn't apply in this case anyway.)

As for Phil and Ray............................I may have to cut you guys off!

Aldo,
Looking forward to your visit to the "High Country", but, it may be more convenient for you if you just ship my steel to me. Please let me know. Thanks.

I got my bars, they are beautiful! look pretty clean, and square.Big, heavy, and jut wanting to be hit with a 3-Kilo hammer! :D

Yeah I know .. .. .. issues . . .

Hey Aldo... What's a "fully loaded" flat rate box cost with postage?.... ;)

Thanks for taking care of us Hawaii guys... not going to miss out on this ... could kick myself for not loading up on the 1084... oh well :grumpy:

Yeah... I'll be back for more on top of what I've already ordered....:D

I been waiting for this stuff and I just got paid for the brass butterfly in the gallery so my order is on the way, I can see some great integrals coming out of this stuff. Jim

K,

I'll let you know exactly what I can fit in one on Sunday. I finally got my saw blades(back ordered) and I was going build 6 or 8 boxes for starters. I'll fill one and let you know................and you're welcome to have as many as you like.:D

I'm pretty sure I can fit 60 pounds. Each 12"bar is 1.8# and I've got 11" across. That should give me space for 33 pieces(and maybe slide in a piece of 1/4"1084)

Aldo, I bet your one of the least popular clients at the post office. They must cringe when the Steel Baron appears.
