This 1095 showed up on Friday. Forged this blade Saturday and now its a big knife. This steel will hand forge. It just takes a little more time because of the thickness. I'm really pleased with this steel..... Blade on this one is 12 1/4".

How are the new plates coming along?? I am debating on having you cut some square bars and cutting them short enough to fit in Flat Rate Box's. May be interested in some more if you can do that. I like 2x2 inch or there about. It is fun squishing that stuff now that my press is back up and running.

If you're talking about the W-2 there's some good news. I just found a saw that I can get cheap. I'll have to switch out the motor, but I have 5 - 2HP Baldors and speed controls sitting around doing nothing so we may be seeing some W-2 flat bar soon enough.

Aren't you still trying to get through all of your 1086M so you can start making a dent in your W2 stash? lol
