You must have the biggest collection of Hortons by now Pauli? How do you like that SPDR EDC? I really like the way the grips feel on mine.

So, free floating is going to make a big difference in accuracy? Even with iron sights and/or a red dot?
Here's a thread on cross-comparison between the Troy and the Omega: http://www.ar15armory.com/forums/DD-Omega-Troy-Drop-Rail-t59582.html Here are some comments from that thread I wonder about...
I'm not planning on a laser, but I would like to know why you'd want the free float in that case.
Would the Troy be that bulky with the rail panels?
Continuity doesn't seem like it would be an issue since my AR is an optics ready with mounting positions for my battle sights on the upper and on the gas block. Those are already in line with one another.
How much difference in weight are we talking about here though?

Looks like your weather is hitting Chicago now RLarge. Luckily is is very light and puffy flakes. The most beautiful kind.
Sweet Horton Trukrel. I'm a fan of the skinny blades. I own a FFBM, but aside from that my thickest blade is .25. I'm stoked to get ahold of the skinny that Horton is making me. I'll post pics when she is in my manos.
