120th Anniversary BK98 Becker Tuko

Just 1 seems I like to pay double and sometimes triple after they are Discoed just a habit I guess, plus wife has been steeling the blades that come in the mail lately. (NOT A BAD THING HAVE A PO BOX)

Ha ha, kinda the same for me exept i didnt by a 98..
Since Ka-bar wont ship overseas gettin hold of limited runs is hard at best.
A fellow Beckerhead (hillamhawk) was kind enough to do some "freight forwarding" when the BK29 was awailiable .
Couldnt fix a BK20 the same way though .
Finaly found another Beckerhead willing to part with his 20 eventually...but as you stated, discontinued means mo green :(

They seem to have forgotten the 15 and 17 oh well nice blade and will see some use. Had to look back a little less than 2 years ago the Mr Bladite and i was discussing the possibility of a custom shop guess they where listing somewhat. Great start Ka-Bar now just give us our checklist as too which steel what blade for available dies of coarse and then handle material a true custom from the State and Union Custom shop 4-12 week wait no problem cost 150++++ no problem the buyer is always right Thanks for a great start hopefully by the end of the year a full custom will be available as put together by the customers wants Thats what all these guys and gals want a knife they sort of designed kinda not really but sort of

Did y’all break their credit card machine fighting over buying these? Site says they can’t process orders right now...

worst case, you can flip it in six months for $250, and $300 in a year. probably.

what's not to like? :D

This 98 is nice, I wasn’t expecting the cool box and paper, classy!

that's what you get for $200 ;)

mmm, like the bells and whistles BK10, i think we'll have to have a contest for the Tooky Tuko owners. nothing crazy, just an homage.

to keep it fair, lots of little breakout contests for owners of specific knives too. i'll contact KaBar and see if they wanna play.

Argh!!!! I so want one, but I suspect they will all be gone by the time my budget allows for it. Good for Ka-Bar and Ethan for making this happen.

I didn’t have the funds for one, but I gotta say the bone linen micarta looks super classy on top of that steel!! Is the sheath a different brand of kydex (like boltaron) or is it a molded plastic? I hope they come out with more of these new designs, and maybe keep some of them in production.

I like the Tuko I was a little disappointed that mine came scratched but it’s a user for sure. Will be a grill and camp knife for me. The bone linen micarta feels a lot like grivory.

I was also very excited that a local Beckerhead tjswarbrick saw my posts missing my bk15 and sold me a beautiful new bk15. I tell you they are awesome knives. I’m glad to have it back. I may do a strip and tiger stripe patina on it. Thanks Tom! Got it the day before the Tuko.

Here is the Tuko next to the bk16 with a similar sheath from AZwelke

FYI fellas, Ka-bar posted on Instagram tonight how the 98 sheath was designed to accept a standard tek-lok.

glad so many people are saving me the trouble of getting up out of my sick bed to take pictures and stuff :D

the handle feels solid, like stone, great polish. in many ways, one of the best Beckers i've handled in many a year.

great job.

I can confirm it does fit a teklok. It was tight, but it fits.

Also the holes drilled for the hardware are slightly smaller then the regular tweeners. Sadly this means my dogwood firefly and tommythewho handles won't fit.
