Can you read? Craytab said survive lies to customers for years (fact, they give people time lines and miss them repeatedly) and he said they hold your money and don't refund it when you ask (fact again, people in this thread still haven't received a refund and it's been a month) so the only sad thing is your tireless defense of your favorite company.

Brancron was referring to you, on page 1, and hit the nail on the head. You won't convince anyone of anything here. But you will out your self as a rabid, blind, cult like follower.

So keep going, it is amusing.
I am not trying to convince anyone anything, I just asked a simple question . When someone said they were scamming people I just wanted to know if anyone had actually been scammed. Not defending anyone just stating facts. I personally will never order from them again because of the 90 days that turned into 250 which I was pretty upset about. So I'm not blind or whatever else u said and I don't want to come off as such

QUOTE="sfrigon1, post: 17186167, member: 461612"]Wow I never realized how many haters there are until I started a thread out in general knife discussion. Never again it was like a feeding frenzy , for now I will stay close to shore[/QUOTE]

Thought you were staying, "close to shore" ?

Do your buddies in the survive forum who are currently defending you know you won't be supporting survive anymore?

I will always support survive they are the best, just will be purchasing on the secondary market from now until they straighten stuff out

How do I close this , I'm getting all sorts of irritated?

Not sure with the new software but with the old software, you, as a non-paying member, don't have the ability to close threads. You could ask a mod to shut this down.

Wow.... just wow. Ask a question about other people's opinion, throw a fit when others don't share said opinion, make a random poop comment, create a new thread in another forum complaining that people didn't share your opinion.

If you don't learn to accept that not everyone is going to agree with you all the time you are going to have a very hard life.

I guess I will just avoid looking at it for now . Which is surprisingly harder to do than I thought

so you were burned, and no longer will do business with them, but wish to attack others who've learned from your experience and many others like it?

They might be the nicest folks, and well meaning, but months behind on emails = no communication. Hire someone to answer emails, like a business.

With the demand they apparently have for their knives, they should be able to get their loan to stay afloat from a bank, not hundreds or thousands of customers who prepay. After so many years why are they still struggling to operate?

S sfrigon1 I think anyone who really wants to talk about SURVIVE! Knives handle ergonomics or edge retention or corrosion resistance or user experience goes to the subforum to do it anyways.

As far as this thread, if you can fully abstain from participating, it should just fade out in a small amount of time.

Bank loans, require interest and timely payments, as well as good credit. Something you don't have to worry about if you can get customers to front you the necessary cash.

Fit, life advice,

Well I really wanted to know what everyone else thought but didn't think it would turn into something of this nature. Kind of sad really . Oh well lesson learned , I even got some life advice too

Funny! Now back to your corner where everyone agrees and high fives while ignoring the inconvenient truths.

While is seems that people have been given refunds (mine took two weeks), thus have not been financially "scammed", there little doubt that estimated time of delivery on their knives vastly needs improvement. In the past, the verbiage on pre sales stated that you would receive your knife in a few months. Anyone educated in their business practices knew this was a fallacy but newbies to Survive had no idea that a few months could mean 8-12 months. I feel that this was dishonest and was a factor on why I moved on from their product.

Survive has become a polarizing figure in the knife community but I do feel that they make a great knife (Personality I don't care for their ergonomics) and hope they turn things around. They have lost many customers and do have a lot of fences to mend. Hopefully they make the necessary changes. Sadly, if a close friend asked me about their blades, I would steer them away from their product.
