I'm serious about giving you a knife. I have a lightly uses 4.1 that will be your grail ! So now you can stop being so butt hurt about not having any patience to wait for a knife. And if you have any issues w it I will give you another one and I can't believe that there are people still dreaming up well ( what if they fold )? Listen up buddy what if your custom knifemaker croaks ? Then what ??? So much for your warranty huh

And no, I don't want a survive. Like I said, I've had one. Great knife. Not my style.

And if my custom maker croaks I know I won't have waisted a bunch of time, energy, and embarrassment acquiring the piece.

Again avoiding the question, what about your coveted warranty?
 
I am new to bf and did not realize that if I own a knife from a company that i shouldn't ask what other peoples opinions are about the company .

I'm confused by this. A lot of people have been offering their opinions about the company and you have been extremely defensive. In fact you have repeatedly responded saying you don't want to hear negative info about the company you just want to know about Survive! knives..... which you already own.... so why can't you test it yourself?

This doesn't need to be a personal issue. If you are fine with the company and how it operates and you enjoy the product, why do you have to justify it to anyone?

What you can't do is come out here on the open forum and sugar coat the issues survive knives does indeed have.

I thought you were going to work? And again, go back to the survive forum if you only want to hear what you want to hear. That won't happen here in the "open waters", as you have dubbed them.

What questions? Are you asking about warranty? From a production company like survive I expect a very good warranty. I also expect a company to have business practices that can support said warranty. It is my opinion that survive is a huge risk as a company (as documented in all that I and others have said in this thread). They have trouble fulfilling their normal business obligations. I would not depend on them, as a production company, to be around in the future. I hope I am wrong. I want them to be around. I'm just not going to let them gamble with my money to try to ensure it.

Craytab said survive lies to customers for years (fact, they give people time lines and miss them repeatedly) and he said they hold your money and don't refund it when you ask (fact again, people in this thread still haven't received a refund and it's been a month) so the only sad thing is your tireless defense of your favorite company.

And it is okay to like this company. Just don't pretend it is something it is not to the rest of us.
 
Their design is boring as hell. I would rather go with Winkler, Busse or custom over Survive anyday.
 
Survive has moved on to other venues to keep their ponzi scheme alive. Last year this thread would of been inundated with survive fanboys.

They've been a struggling new company for 6 or 8 years now and are no better off.

You can't say they haven't ripped anyone off until they deliver all the paid for knives and that will be years from now if ever.
 
You can't demand answers when you are ducking questions. If you already own one of their knives why can't you form your own opinions? Or are you so desperate for validation that you can only enjoy your knife if random strangers on the internet share your opinion about the company?
I have my own opinions and was curious about others. Lesson learned , the only thing I'm desperate for now is to start another thread and put this one 6ft under
