2000th Post Customer Appreciation 10 knife Giveaway

Actually just placed an order with you for a skyline I've been tempted by :D

Don't have alot to be positive about at the moment, by my only uplifting thought is to cherish the ones close to you while they're still around, and you will be much happier in the end.

Thanks for the chance, and great contest Dave

I once heard someone say "Its not cheating, it's just knowing and making use of your resources." I thought this was great.

Dave, you are great, responsive, and also one of my favorite vendors period. Keep it up :D

Thanks for your generosity, Dave. You epitomize what is great about small business owners in America. Honesty, integrity, and excellent service. Thank you for that.

I've enjoyed buying knives from you for myself, friends, and my son's collection. You've made many memories possible. Thanks for what you do and for this very generous giveaway!

It's good to have such a quality product (variaty, too) and even better to have someone trustworthy and respectable to buy from...thanks Dave.

First off I just want to say thanks for doing this. Not only does it attract new customers for you but it keeps the old ones coming back (not to mention making a bunch of knife nuts VERY happy).

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”-George Eliot. Its never too late.

whether i win or not thanks kershawguy for the chance. it's gestures like this that make this forum a great place to hang out.

A Kershaw was one of my first "nice" knives, and it was a Leek and an ET that got me really into cutlery, 5 or 6 years ago. They are still among the top brands that I suggest when people come to me for knife advice. They also make one hell of a nice gift! :D

I was on the Kershaw forum before they left, and I was very happy to see them return. They add so very much to the BF community.

Thanks so much for the chance.

Guess I should probably enter since I just ordered another one from you yesterday. :D

Thanks for everything you do for the Kershaw community. If it weren't for you contacting me about an orange Skyline and Speedbump a year ago when I was trying to hunt down a Tyrade, I never would have started seriously collecting. They were my 2nd and 3rd purchases and really got me hooked. If someone had told me then that I would buy 23 more Kershaws and 7 ZT's, I would have called them crazy. I have met some great people along the way and enjoyed every minute of it, regardless of what my bank account says. ;)

Thanks for the opportunity. Bought my first real knife ever from Dave, a ZT 0200 and several other knives since. Remember that life is short and that family is important and to take the time to invest in the lives of your family and the lives of others.

I worked in blue collar for 10+ years. Stayed reasonably fit. Four years ago I got a new job where I sit down the majority of the time. Hit 30 years old, got married. Before I knew it I had put on 40+ pounds. I am proud to say that in 10 weeks I have lost over 25 of those pounds. This past weekend I ran in my first ever 5K and was hoping to finish under 30 minutes. I made it in 28:36. I was ecstatic. I have another race this weekend. The last 1.5 miles is uphill. It's going to suck!! It's a great feeling to see the weight loss in the face and to feel the clothes shrinking. It is rewarding in a way that I wouldn't have imagined. It just makes me feel better about myself.

On a side note - Dave, we've done a lot of business and you've always been a standup guy. Even with my pickyness and returns/exchanges over that time. I really appreciate having a source as top notch as you. Especially the discounted blems. It's like for the first time in my life: "I'm in the know." I've never been a VIP a day in my life, until I joined this forum.

I haven't been on the forum here in a while, so it seems odd that this would be one of the first posts I'd come across as just today I dug out an old mailing box of yours from a knife order.
My son, who's 3, was trying to find something to put some of his "favorite things" in for safe keeping.
I remembered the box was in a drawer with some older, less used knives in it. I then watched as he wandered through the house picking little toys to put into it throughout the day. It made me smile.......and that's never a bad thing.
Thank you, Dave, for the service you provide and the upstanding manner in which you provide it. You've earned yourself a good reputation and that's one of the best things you can have in this world.
All the best to you.....

I bought a brown limited edition Kershaw Skyline from you and it is one of the highest quality knives I have seen. Perfect in every way. Also my ZT0350 is becoming one of my favorite EDC's really fast. I would like to thank you for being a great member of these forums and for doing this generous giveaway! Looking forward to buying more knives from you!

Thanks for the chance, Dave!

"Expect everything, and anything seems nothing.
Expect nothing, and anything seems everything."

a quote from the poet Samuel Hazo. Pretty neat when you think about it.

Thanks for the chance.
All I can say is I have a smile on my face every night after I log on to bladeforums.

Very cool contest. I've always liked the Chesty Puller quotes. My dad would always say one of them a little different. He would say "We're surrounded by darkness and evil. That simplifies our responsibility to show Jesus."

Thanks for the contest.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway Dave!

In high school, I had a fantastic math teacher, name of Mrs. Percival, and she was probably the best teacher I have ever had the privilege to learn from. She taught in such a way that at the end of each class, the subject matter was understood by everyone in the room, no matter how hard of a time anyone had learning it. Something she used to tell us was, "It doesn't matter what it is in life that you are learning, there will be times when you have to deal with something that you just cannot get, or do not understand. There is no shame in that. Because every single time, the only reason you can't understand it is that you are missing that one key piece of information that makes it all fit together for you. That key can be different from person to person, but no matter how hard something is, if you can find that key, you can get it."

Since then, no matter how difficult something has been, I always remember what she said, and I always look for that one piece of info that will make it all click for me, and sure enough, with enough thought and perseverance, I can almost always find it.

Every day is what you make it so make it count. Love my Kershaws. Thanks for the chance. Bought a red Skyline off your site.

Things happen for a reason...

So simple, yet when I look back this saying rings true time and time again. Throughout life there are so many times when we wonder why something has happened, why we face the challenges we do, or why others go through heartache. Over time, after looking back I can see why/ how things have fallen into place.
