Remember, there are twelve days of Christmas...all the way to Epiphany on the 6th of January. Considering these parameters, we still might make it Justin!
 
Hrm, that's an idea. I don't have a hydrolic press, but I've got a fly press, maybe if i put my small 'hammer' face in it and bump it a few times from the side i can get rid of the gap and then work on shaping it to fit the handle.
 
RRGGGHHHH Ran out of Dye for the sheath yesterday and didn't get home with the new stuff (Thanks Bruce for the new stuff) until it was time for work. I should have it mailed off in a couple of days I can't wait to get it sent out :)

The Orthodox Russian Calendar has Christmas on Jan 7th By that calendar I am right on time LOL Too bad I am not Russian LOL
 
Almost done. I have to sharpen the blade, put my makers mark on it and ship it. I am headed out of town for a couple of days but this should go out no later than Friday. If the mailman is good to me it should make it to it's destination by Christmas.

Thats a fine example of a frontier knife. I can smell the black powder burning just looking at it. Very nice work.

Well I got mine heat treated yesterday, with a little luck I can finish this weekend and get it sent out.
 
I finished mine and mailed it this morning. It 's not perfect but is my best work. I think someone is getting a nice folder; I hope they do!

It's not perfect!?!?!?! Jeez...the nerve :D I don't think there's one maker here that would say his is...I know mine isn't :)
 
Well I got home just now and there was a note on the door. Fed-ex had come by and there was no one here. :( Now I have to figure out how to get the package because I suspect it is the long awaited knife. I called them and they said they will try to deliver again. I told them that there was not going to be anyone home and tried to get them to deliver it to my office. They said they could not do that. Maybe I can get my neighbor to stay in our house tomorrow. Now all I can do is wait, which just happens not to be one of the things I am good at. :) When I listed my address I did not think about no one being home and having to sign for a package, well I will remember next time.
 
Wade I would think that you could have them hold the package at your local distribution center so that you could pick it up there.

Got mine today. I'm not going to open until I get my knife sent off. Should be done this weekend.:confused: Good incentive.
