GEC really have hit it out of the park, I'll go as far to say they are the best US slipjoint production company at this point in time.
 
Wow! Every time I see updates of this knife I just wish I had ordered one from the get-go. When does the 2012 knife get ordered???

Shortly after the first of the year those interested are given a chance to vote on the pattern and some other details of the knife. This usaully takes a couple months or so and it is a lot of fun. Once that is all decided on the members send their payments and the knives are ordered. If I remember correctly, this year's knife was ordered sometime in April.

You can post a want ad in the exchange forum for one of the EO Jack models. Some people purchased multiples.

They look even better than I pictured them in my mind!!
This is getting very exciting! And I don't even have to come up with the dough - Done that already!!
Could be the best Forum knife ever.
