I'll let Dorfman speak for me:

At first blush this strikes me as many more pieces than needed for just our knives.
Is it safe to assume that we will see the typical "full roll-out" of the new pattern at roughly the same time as ours are ready?

Its not on their production schedule on their website but I've seen that a Spear/Pen and Spear/Punch will be released as part of their regular runs. Not sure if they are EOs though.

I really have to say thanks for the update shots on this. Watching the knife move through the various phases of manufacturing has made the wait much more exciting and the knife will be even more special when it arrives. I'm grateful to all those involved in this.

I'm not a drinking man, but I may have to find something with a bottle cap to pop off when I have this beauty in hand.

Ha Ha!! I've been stocking up on bottled drinks, just to have 'em ready!!

I really enjoy seeing these work in progress pictures. Makes me appreciate the wok that goes into making these knives. I'm thankful they took time to make these pictures available to us.

That tan, underlying the dark brown, is just phenomenal!
They know how to dye and jig bone, don't they!!
The two colors give it an extra dimension - Wow!!

Hi folks -

Kinda looks like a "brand-new antique"!

Just what I was hoping for!

best regards -
