Put me down for a toenail pattern. 2 blades.

(Sticking this thread for now until the powers that be want it closed.)

Ideally, in order of preference:

1. A 3-3/4" long equal-ended single blade jack with a spear point blade. Similar to the Northwoods Indian River jack, but a smidge longer and wider.

2. Something similar to Queen's Dan Burke sunfish

3. A 3-3/4" sodbuster with micarta scales

4. A 4" congress with a spear blade in place of one of the pen blades, kind of like GEC did for a really short run.

Every Forum slippie I've gotten has been a pattern that I did not have, so in staying in that vein I too would like a toenail pattern.:D

Let me also echo the many thanks for y'alls spearheading this project.

My choices would be (in order of priority):

1. Half Congress with wharncliffe and clip-point blades, or
2. Harness Jack, or
3. Wharncliffe Trapper.

I'd like a jigged bone Cattle Knife with a spear blade, or a Dogleg Jack.

This is going great. Gus, thanks for making it a sticky. This is my first sticky! It is going to be a glorious day.:D

I would like to see a big cattle knife with jigged bone or a big Eureka cattle knife with jigged bone.

I would like a copperlock, trapper with a warncliffe replacing the spey blade, or a sowbelly.
Carbon steel blades would be a plus

Huh???? I thought the 2010 knife was a Moose!!!!

My mistake:foot: - thanks Modoc ED:thumbup:

I like the Elephant's Toenail idea. My current favorite design is a 3-bladed Sow Belly though.

I'm in for this one! I like the "Can-Low" idea and also the 4" Congress with the spear blade. A nice smooth wood handle of some kind may be nice, with a shield of course.
Just my 2 cents. Thanks....................Paul

I like the harness jack (spear, not clip) and peanut ideas. I'm surprised there's not more support from the Cult of the Peanut. A slimline trapper under 4" would be nice too. A one-bladed swayback is always nice too.

Whatever you choose,Can I PLEASE get on the list for this one?

Every year I'm preoccupied with something else & completely forget about it til' it's too late.:grumpy:

Last years Barlow was to die for & I kick myself every time I see it.:o

I subscribed to this thread,if that helps any.

Thanks

BTW,I'd vote for the Elephant's Toenail too

While I'm into copperlocks right now I don't think that affair is going to last. I would really like to see a scout knife. If that's too similar to the ring knife from years past then I think a peanut would be good. I'm not a peanut guy but I'd still buy one or two.

+1. I think that's a great idea. We're a year late for the centennial, but a scout with jigged bone scales and a premium steel (ATS-34 and up) master blade would be a thing of beauty.

I'd like to see a dogleg jack 1 blade being a wharncliffe, and the other blade a pen or a punch. Thanks for doing this fellas. I really appreciate it.

My idea, is perhaps not traditional enough:

at one side a sheepfoot blade
at the other side a Victorinox-like bottle opener, or can opener, or both

all this with bolsters and ivory micarta

My thoughts........

*Trapper / Clip & Spey
**Slimline Trapper / Clip
***Swayback

But, I am in for 3 at least; no matter what is decided.

Thanks to you 3 guys who took this on.......
