I voted for the Wharncliff Trapper, two blades with a California Clip as the second blade, 3 1/2 to 3 7/8 inch, bareheaded.

I'm with Wayne on the configuration although I do keep getting my clip blade names confused... Using GEC as an example, if its 3 1/2" then I like the clip blade on the #66 Jack/Calf Roper. If its 3 7/8" the something more like the Schrade 294/single blade GEC #48. Double bomb or Schrade federal shield.

I will say that I like all the choices this year so I'll be happy with whichever one wins out.

I voted for the wharnie trapper but a congress jack with a bar shield and that blade with longpull would be welcome in my pocket any day.

Too new to the traditional world to give any input on options...I voted for the one that tickles me the most, the Swayback. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Congress however ;)

Sowbelly, baby! Sheepsfoot and clip blades. Bring on that curvy beauty!:thumbup:

I got my jack fix in the 2011 knife and would love to mix it up with something new.

Some 440C wouldn't hurt my feelings, either. Acorn shield, please ;)

I voted for the Wharncliffe Trapper. Two blade with a clip point as the second blade with a barehead, bomb shield and black canvas micarta.

Sowbelly: spear and pen. Will commit to one of whatever is chosen though. Traditional sowbelly shield, no preference for scales.

Even though I think other options would make me just as happy, I voted for the Congress Jack.
As for the shield, I have no big preference, but I assume a simple bar shield would look good, or no shield at all (for me, it depends on the handle material as well, but I know we are not discussing it here).
As for size, around 3,5" is fine for me.

I didn't vote - I'm good with any of the patterns that have a warnie or other belly-less blade as the master. I do plan to purchase.

Congress Jack, bar shield, 3.5 in closed......om nom nom nom :D

Big stockman, replace spey blade with a punch for me, Ballocks shield.

Second choice would be a two blade Trapper, clip and wharncliffe.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Double End Premium (2 blade Sow)

Clip Pen. Single spring hopefully. Diamond shield.

Think I'd take the others except the Swayback.

I must support that big classic, all-American Stockman! A punch would be a nice addition! Any traditional shield.
If we choose a Stockman, I am in for six (6) knives!! Any of the others, all worthy, I will buy at least one.

I'd like to see a SBJ or a wharncliffe trapper. Single blade, acorn shield and bareheaded. The picture of the wharncliffe trapper is growing on me.

Charlie. Ya gotta get off that punch deal. Save it for the Harness Jacks.:)

I voted for the Large Stockman and would like to have it just as it is pictured in the selection pictures -- Prominent Blade (Clip); Secondary Blade (Sheepfoot); Third Blade (Spey).

I would have liked to have seen a three blade sowbelly stockman as an option, however I went for the large stockman. I would take the two blade sowbelly as my 2nd choice though. Keep all three blades, no punch but can it be made available as an option to those that would want one? Any shield is okay with me.

I am voting the same on this one, I've been itching for a trapper but much prefer the wharncliff/sheepsfoot to a spey blade.
